i really don't like ajani in this deck.

I think that Lightning Helix would be better. Even Mortify/Putrefy or even O Ring. I just think Ajani is high on the curve and for little-effect.

I also am unsure of Figure.

Maybe an Elf to back up Vanguisher. Llanowar or Elvish Visionary.

The problem with Lightning Helix, Mortify and Putrefy would be that none of them are legal in the format he is talking about.

I heart this deck.
Basically a 4control goodstuff aggro/control deck.
So, lean a little off the aggro and a little on the control.
Figure, while neat-o isnt so hot in aggro/control cause you want to be casting more spells and not making him bigger.

Birdy is great for 2nd turn doran/thoctar.
Unmake would seem like a solid choice.

Vengeant seems kinda mleh.

22 Land seems too few.

Additionally, in looking at this deck, it would seem that you would greatly benefit from not having thoctar in there stretching your mana, and that a GBW doran aggro control deck would be grandly similar to what your deck is, as you aquire large beefy dudes from green anyway.

However, my take on this with the thoctar included.
4 Doran
4 Wooly Thoctar
4 Chameleon Colossus
4 Wren's Run Vanquisher
4 Tidehollow Sculler
4 Birds of Paradise
4 Oblivion Ring
4 Thoughtseize
3 Unmake
2 Namless Inversion

4 Murmering Bosk
4 Gilt Leaf Palace
4 Auntie's Hovel
4 Vivid Grove
2 Rugged Prairie
2 Treetop Village
1 Brushland
2 Reflecting Pool

As kfcman pointed out, it a crime to play Doran and Thoctar and not play Birds. The deck begins with these 12 slots.

Btw, Naya Charm is very good in this type of deck, as testing has proved. Try it out. You will be surprised at how well it works.
