what i find very nice with the retrace is the land Dakmor Salvage. GO DREDGE!!

Mono-black can deal with colossus in block, with trip noose. And taking out tattermunge maniac doesn't seem hotter than say taking out a bitterblossom, cryptic, mistbind, or anything else good.

I realize this is kind of obvious, but Raven's Crime with a Kelpie on the board basically lets you filter through your deck and get nonland cards while emptying your opponents hand.
