Hey guys, I just need some quick help with a deck idea.
Tell me what you guys think:
//NAME: bbsdf
24 Swamp
4 Dauthi Slayer
4 Inkfathom Infiltrator
4 Dusk Urchins
3 Garza's Assassin
4 Nekrataal
4 Divinity of Pride
2 Midnight Banshee
4 Thoughtseize
4 Loxodon Warhammer
3 Tendrils of Corruption
SB: 4 Hag Hedge-Mage
SB: 2 Distress
SB: 4 Festercreep
SB: 4 Beckon Apparition
SB: 1 Incremental Blight
It's built around a similar mana curve to the white midrange deck that's been floating around in recent top 4's. The turn 2 guys are perfect with a warhammer (hard to kill and unblockable). It's got big guys for the late game and loaded with CA.
My main problems with the deck would be that it sucks vs. combo and it's horrible vs rb token. Any ideas for those matchups?
Or any ideas on how I can make the deck better overall?
Thanks in advance.

| I dont know about Divinity and Banshee, quite expensive. Bad Moon seems like a fit though. I think Murderous Redcap is better than Nekrataal. I also wonder where is Bitterblossom since its the perfect fit for the deck and great with Bad Moon/Warhammer. And why not 4 Tendrils and some 2 or at most 3 Warhammers? 4 Is too many Hammers in my humble opinion. Leechridden Swamp or two could be ran too or Spawning Pool or two. Garza's Assassin seems pointless without Scarblade Elite so Id just play something like Terror, Unmake, Shriekmaw over it. |

4 Korlash. Absolutely no reason to not play him in that deck. He is fantastic with Warhammer.
2 Warhammer is enough.
4 Demigod of Revenge for sure. Better in this deck than Divinity of Pride.
Mind Shatter is good vs combo. The best combo deck in the format is UW Reveillark, and Extirpate/Withered Wretch/Faerie Macabre is good vs it.
Shriekmaw is way better than Nekrataal.
Stillmoon Cavalier is better for you than Garza's Assassin.
Midnight Banshee is ok, but you need 4 spaces for Korlash, so out it goes along with 2 hammers. |

Vedrfolner: Thanks for the ideas, korlash is definitely better than nekrataal. But i still like nek better than shriek cuz in this deck i tend to want to play a creature, and paying 4 is better than 5 for that ability. And lark isn't the combo i'm worried about... Swans and grapeshot are the problems for such a slow aggro.
Deuce: no one seems to like assassin, so i'll probably put in stillmoon, but i don't know how good bitterblossom is here. The deck is already slow enough, i don't need even more slow cards u know? maybe i'm wrong.
Tuga: that hurts coming from you...
New list
24 swamps
4 dauthi slayer
4 inkfathom infiltrator
4 dusk urchins
4 stillmoon cavalier
4 korlash
4 shriekmaw
24 creatures
4 thoughtseize
3 loxodon warhammer
3 tendrils of corruption
2 bad moon
12 other |

Look at the deck I posted in that other MBA thread.
Edit: there's nothing wrong with Garza's Assassin. I like the card, but it must be in the right deck; preferably an assassin deck. |
