60 Cards
Lands:
8 Island
8 Plains
4 Vivid Creek
4 Rustic Clachan
24
Creatures:
4 Merfolk Looter
4 Looter il-Kor
4 Augury Adept
4 Nomad Mythmaker
2 Reveilark
18
Other Spells:
2 Steel of the Godhead
2 Auramancer's Guise
3 Serra's Embrace
2 Fool's Demise
3 Pentarch Ward
3 Daybreak Coronet
3 Retether
18
Now obviously, the purpose of this deck is to keep drawing and discarding auras so you can retether them to any of your creatures, the best creature, in this case, being Augury Adept. This deck works EXREMELY well at the place where i play in town, but it never seems to work that well online.
Any suggestions? |

i have absolutely no idea why it doesnt work out for you in the online tournaments
maybe its just due to bad matchups ,the pairings
id suggest to test more for a more precise analyze of the deck
if you continue losing ,the mws shuffler should be blamed |

| Muflon was obviously kidding. He's making fun of the deck. Please ask for a sarcasm detector this Christmas, you really need one. The competition locally is probably horrible and play terrible decks, because this deck is very subpar. It doesn't win online because altough M-L players arn't very good, they play good decks. And good deck + bad player will beat your bad deck most of the time. I like how you decide not to enchant your creatures, rather discard enchantments then try and find one card that makes the wasted enchantments work. |

Blaming the MWS shuffler is too old. I say we start blaming the Planeshift patch. |

One thing I would suggest is if your playing the deck just casually for fun is to let other people know that, and hopefully you will get like minded people to play against rather than someone who is playing a netdeck with the aim of winning. Who proceeds to make a thread about how great he is because he beat you with his deck and what a noob you are an such and such. You really have to wonder how little achievement someone must have had in there lives to conisder bragging about winning a game on MWSplay.
If your looking to become a more competative player and play for prizes, then Im afraid your probably gonna have to give up playing your own decks to start with and start playing net decks, theres plenty of them on site. The internet really evolved deck building and too make your own deck and win with it is very hard in the days of the internet, you can still do it but not with out playing the type of decks your gonna be competing against and getting an understanding of what makes them so good etc.
What ever your endeavours goodluck. |
