So with eventide coming out within the next couple months, i was wondering if anyone thinks black white will make a tempo comeback like the deck fader. Or if it'll be something like White weenie creature swith black removal and discard. Same goes with black green. Will the official "ROCK" deck come back? Discuss.

rock is already back and it will get better. also i doubt a deck like fader will come out of eventide. w/b weenie is def possible but im guessing r/w aggro might just be a little better.

Just out of curiosity what makes one deck weenie and one deck aggro? Aren't they the same thing? Is it just an alliteration thing? If you said w/r instead of r/w would it be weenie instead of aggro? Or is it something else all together that I don't know of?

from my experience weenie used to be a deck that had either crusade or anthem but now it seems to just be a term for aggro with little creatures, im not sure if heezy street would be termed as a weenie deck in its day as it sported some rumbling slum but i think jones' zoo could be

I would say that Weenie is a sub-type of Aggro. Weenie is an aggressive deck using many small creatures but no burn.

I could imagine BW "aggro" with Blossom and Procession and BW Liege and/or Anthem. Add to that whatever weenies eventide brings and you'd prolly want Thoughtseize, even though hurting yourself might become a problem. Then there are cards like Serra Avenger etc. You'd never know what could happen.

If all opposing colours will have their own tribe (UR, BW, GB, WR, UG) then I think BG will be the strongest one in Standard since this combination is already existing in Lorwyn. RW is also existing already but have few good cards.
