This deck feels like its so close to being effective...

so it uses grim harvest and kitchen finks as life game for synergy, kitchen finks is a great chump blocker. Also uses spectral possesion for chump blockers until the board becomes stagnant when the finks and spirits can pick away at the opponent. Its not hard considering most decks play painlands somewhere which only helps my deck.

Edit fixed those stupid errors...
-3 urchin
-1 condemn
-1 akroma
-1 wrath of god from sideboard
+1 oblivion ring
+4 youthful knight
+1 cruel edict to sideboard

EDIT #2
-4 youthful knight
+4 shriekmaw

EDIT #3
+4 Nameless Inversion
+2 Adarkar Valkyrie
+2 Sacred Mesa
+1 Oona, Queen of the Fae
+1 Profane Command
+1 akroma

-2 Disenchant
-4 Prison Term
-4 Terror
-1 Grim Harvest

EDITS
-1 Sacred Mesa
-2 Shriekmaw

+3 Aeon Chronicler
**Note this was done hastily if theres a better option to take out please post

EDIT #5
-2 children of Korlis...not sure when i put this in
+1 vivid meadow
+1 coalition relic

// Deck file for Magic Workstation (http://www.magicworkstation.com)

// Lands
4 [10E] Caves of Koilos
2 [FUT] Horizon Canopy
6 [LRW] Plains (2)
4 [SHM] Reflecting Pool
4 [SHM] Swamp (2)
1 [PLC] Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth
3 [LRW] Vivid Meadow

// Creatures
2 [CS] Adarkar Valkyrie
4 [SHM] Kitchen Finks
1 [SHM] Oona, Queen of the Fae
2 [LRW] Shriekmaw
3 [PLC] Aeon Chronicler

// Spells
4 [FUT] Coalition Relic
2 [PLC] Damnation
2 [CS] Grim Harvest
4 [LRW] Nameless Inversion
3 [LRW] Oblivion Ring
1 [LRW] Profane Command
1 [TSB] Sacred Mesa
3 [SHM] Spectral Procession
4 [10E] Wrath of God

// Sideboard
SB: 2 [PLC] Damnation
SB: 4 [10E] Condemn
SB: 4 [10E] Cruel Edict
SB: 1 [TSB] Disenchant
SB: 4 [10E] Rule of Law

The problem is, i can't find a solid 1w 1b creature to play. The deck only goes on turn three and on turn 4 almost always has to play a wrath/damnation...just need some speed help, thanks.

do you realize you run 5 condemn and 5 wrath of gods between main and side? dusk urchins always gets removed before it gets to attack or block and akroma gets eaten by cloudthresher which is main in every deck that plays green or atleast side...

And how the hell are you going to win!!!???

-2 Disenchant
-4 Prison Term
-4 Terror
-1 Grim Harvest
-4 Spectral Procession

+4 Nameless Inversion
+2 Adarkar Valkyrie
+2 Sacred Mesa
+4 Bitterblossom
+1 Akroma, Angel of Wrath
+1 Oona, Queen of the Fae
+1 Profane Command

Terror doesn't destroy black creatures
Prison Term is an aura
3 Grim Harvest with max 8 targets is a bit much
Spectral Procession puts 3 blockers into play. Better use those 4 slots for something else.
Disenchant is not a maindeck card. You got Oblivion Ring for that.

I agree you don't really have any win condition in that list at all. Definately +1 oona and +1 akroma, and sacred mesa. Maybe Crovax, he can really just dominate certain decks just by being on the table. But I don't really think bitterblossom makes sense in this deck.

Also I don't think you necessarily have to drop all 4 terrors in favor of nameless inversion. There really aren't so many black creatures in the format for you to be worried about that you can't already handle with the rest of your removal. I think having a few terror is ok instant speed removal of big guys like cloudthresher, crovax, mistbind clique, gargadon etc that you can't get with nameless inversion and you'd take damage from if all else you had was sorcery speed removal.

And about the guy who said akroma is bad because of cloudthresher, you have so much removal in here cloudthresher is negligable. If it's out before you drop akroma you can just wrath it away, and if you drop akroma and they respond the next turn with thresher, first of all you've already hit them for 6 damage, and then you just pacify or terror the thresher. And obviously if you see them sitting there with 6 open green mana and a card in hand, you're not going to walk right into it

Thank you for your comments and insight, in fact the original list ran bitterblossoms but the issue was i ended up chump blocking and always losing life in the process. Granted it did slow down, but it still wasn't working.

Also that is correct, i do not have any win condition...lol but i do now, thank you for your quick responses.

What do i draw cards with...cause i can't use single card draw cause i end up with no cards in hand and only drawing one isn't gonna help me any...howling mine is sorta eh, i tinkered with maralen of mornsong...shes fun to use but is more of a rift bolt because opponents like to find their nameless inversions for that one

You could try Graveborn Muse for some card draw....Also, could you just post a new list, please? i was having trouble keeping all those edits straight in my head.

I would say Muse is better than those other options because it is a repetitive card-drawer. Also, since it is the only Zombie, you will only take 1 damage per turn. Hopefully, the extra card advantage will be enough to overcome that.

Since you already have 3 Coalition Relic, it is easy adding another and splashing in a few white Vivid lands for the option of playing Aeon Chronicler.
