Ok, so in every game I start about 5-6 mins into the game MWS Play closes. It does not error and a Vista message pops up saying Magic Workstation has stopped working. I have reinstalled and restarted my computer and my limited computing skills have not been able to find the problem.

umm.... either firewall or....


the fact it wasn't made for VISTA?

change compatability modes, to windows XP and might fix it... otherwize ... guess no more games for you

I really doubt its Vista since I have run it for 8 months on it, as for the firewall that doesn't make any sense either, suddenly shutting a program down after an period of time.

well certain firewalls...hmm i should really rephrase that.

If you have an ""internet security"(like norton for example) and it's anti-virus and such will auto-terminate programs if they use certain ports, or if it thinks it is a virus.

Well.. if it isn't one of the two things i said.. try googling it or something because im not familar with it..

Try running a system restore in vista to a few days before the problem began and if it still happens make sure you have the most recent updates for MWS then reinstall it.
