You'll have to forgive me, I'm very new to making decks, so I decided to stick to mainly one block. I'm open to suggestions, though. I will say that I don't really want to make it a Goblin deck.

Lands-
10 Mountain
6 Island
2 Oboro, Palace in the Clouds
3 Tendo Ice Bridge

Spells-
2 Mindblaze
3 Lava Spike
1 Ideas Unbound
2 Honden of Seeing Winds
3 Glacial Ray
3 Desperate Ritual
2 Crushing Pain
1 Spiraling Embers
3 Inner Fire
2 Hidetsugu's Second Rite
2 Ire of Kaminari
1 Evermind
2 Honden of Infinite Rage
1 First Volley
4 Savor the Moment

Creatures-
2 Dreamcatcher
2 Kaijin of the Vanishing Touch
3 Teardrop Kami
3 Godo's Irregulars
2 Ronin Cliffrider

Sideboard-
4 Guttural Response
2 Spiraling Embers
4 Browbeat
3 Glitterfang
2 Ideas Unbound

Whats with the random numbers, it looks like you closed your eyes pointed somewhere on a list then rolled a D4 to add them to the deck. Don't build the deck unless you know what you want it to do, then give it the tools to do that best, that's how you should be doing it. If you want to use splice then build off of it, although I wouldn't suggest it for extended. There is no need to build a goblins deck but there is no need to build randompile.dec

This is as good as a splice deck can get http://www.magic-league.com/deck/10362/ur_splice.html#UR%20Splice13477 there is no way sadly its good enough for extended I loved the mechanic second favourite of all time after madness. That deck was in my opinion the 3rd best deck in kami block behind gifts and mono blue control. It was never even good enough for type 2 believe me i tried to make it, but gave it up very quickly and converted into a blue red white deck but thats a different story.

The main problem with splice spells is that you need lots of them for the deck to work, so your two most important spells are reach through mist and peer through deepths as they are the fuel that keep the deck burning. Any card that is not a splice spell needs a very good reason to be included. You can go down to 24 lands with the mana fixing available in extd, you can also prob cut the needles (there for jittes, meloku, mjoyinns, eight half tails, onaginator), kumano's (for the mono black and white aggro decks) and definatly hisokas defiances (there for black myjoinns cranial extractions and shinning shoal) none of which your going to see in extended. I have no idea what you should replace them with test and think and figure it for yourself.

The rays and puppetries (the most abbusive cards in the deck) control the board whilst u accumlate splice spells in the grave yard either buying time for normally double ire ftw or for a kumano to resolve and take control of the board. Dont be afraid to take a reach or peer early to mid game over a ire, you need to keep a stream of splices spells going they do that. Ray burns any small creatures vs aggro puppetry taps them down. Vs control ray embers, go to the dome, puppetry disrupts mana base and then ire finishes off.

Dont play lava spike there is not enough burn splice spells to warrant its inclusion. You only play like a burn deck vs control and then you have alot more time and generally embers works out better and is more versatille.

Cards I would suggest adding if your set on this for extd (as more a casual deck than tournament deck i assume) ancestral visions and ponder both give you something to do on turn 1.

GL you'll need it with splice.

The random numbers are because I saw so many cards I liked and wanted to use, then had to cut down, so I cut one of each.

And thanks, Trotsky, that was very helpful. I'm building on that idea.
