Why do people smoke?

I have not met a doctor who smokes. Nor a nurse or pharmacist. But I do not know too many doctors, nurses, or pharmacists.

I do know a lot of toxicologists. None of them smoke.

this is retarded. the guy asked why people smoked. I think that based on the question, only smokers should be able to answer. Non-smokers have no right to give reasons on why people smoke everybody knows smoking is bad, if you don't then you deserve to die before smoking kills you. I don't think that non-smokers should criticize smokers. since so many non-smokers have decided to chime in with their stupid and redundant remarks, I will change the non-smoker tune and go with something that doesn't make me sound like a douche. It doesn't matter why people smoke, the guy just asked for some reasons so give him a break. Also, if you don't like smoking, don't do it. Plain and simple. Giving people shit just because they smoke is a good way to get the shit knocked out of you pretty quick. Smoker's can get angry just like the rest of us. So i suggest that you don't post replies just to piss off the smokers, lest they come at you with all their nicotine fueled rage Twisted Evil
