Hey everybody. I just email'd Mark Rosewater with this msg...

Dear Mark Rosewater
I was wondering who, if anybody, from wizards is a spy @ www.magic-league.com. I'm positive you can't ignore the most popular site for casual players who refuse to pay for MODO. Thx.

-Jacois

If you want to get in on this hilarity, be sure to msg him yourself. The more email's we get, the more likely that there will be some form of response.

Follow that link, and scroll to the bottom to send a msg to Mark Rosewater. Mark Rosewater, or MARO, is the lead guy at wizards.

Whats your goal/point? You must know that the people at wizards don't like m-l. But Maro isn't the one who would care, it would be the behind the scences people who would come after m-l if the so choose. Haven't we been through all this already? I don't know if any of you where around for e-league, but this was always a topic in those days.

from the guy who is telling us that wizards has spys here and we should all be worryed. the email you sent him is stupid as hell and frankly if wizards really cared they could shut us down, they dont need "spies"

No they couldn't.

They tried to shut down MWS and they couldn't so I doubt they could shut a site that the goal is to just store information and to make tournaments when the most important part is the software they couldn't shut down.

We don't pay for Magic-League, so they can't do squat. If we had registration fees, or something of the sort, to pay for their product and they weren't getting any cut of it then I am sure they would do something. I am also sure that most people that play on ML also play in real life, so either way, Wizards is getting their money.

Actually if it wasn't for M-L I would have probably given up already because when I started playing Magic I went to Pre-Releases and stuff like that but played mostly on M-L. And I would have never tried MTGO if it wasn't for M-L.
