This used to be Type 2, back in early 2007, 2006
Now it's phased into Legacy
So looking for ideas/updates on the decklist, because I don't know many of the older sets well, or at all
Lands
3x Island
3x Plains
4x Gemstone Mine
2x Underground River
3x Adarkar Wastes
2x Caves of Koilos
4x Desert
1x Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth
Creatures:
3x Drift of Phantasms
3x Dimir House Guard
4x Scion of the Ur-Dragon
1x Teneb the Harvester
1x Numot the Devastator
1x Oros, the Avenger
1x Nicol Bolas
2x Body Double
Spells:
4x Wrath of God
4x Chromatic Star
4x Celestial Dawn
4x Compulsive Research
4x Dawn Charm
3x Resurrection
In case it isn't obvious how it works:
Draw 2-3 land opening hand, play to celestial dawn or compulsive research and wrath of god or resurrection through transmutable creatures. With Celestial Dawn out, hardcasting dragons is much more palleable, without, deserts delay critters, Chromatic Star's provide a little bit of color filtering, Resurrection and Body Double bring back creatures from the graveyard to play. Core engine is to play a Scion of the Ur-dragon while the rest of the dragons are still in library, then start attacking the with Ur-Dragon, and using whichever dragon is most convenient at the time. If the damage goes through, transform into Numot for land destruction, Teneb to bring back something you might have wrath'd earlier, Nicol Bolas against pesky permission decks, Oros the Avenger for a 1-sided wrath of god against zoo decks.
The sideboard is currently not really intact, kind of jank transformative...
Sideboard:
1x Intet, the Dreamer
1x Vorosh, the Hunter
2x Merieke Ri Berit
2x Shielding Plax
2x Vigean Graft Mage
3x Disenchant
2x Sudden Death
2x Extirpate |
