Just wondering how you all think block shakes out with the introduction of SHM into the format. What decks lost footing, what decks gained, is there a dominant deck?
Those sorts of questions and observations. |

Le sigh. He's made 37 posts which means 37 threads have been totally wasted, by this useless waste of skin and air.
Does anyone have even a half intelligent comment to make on the format ?
EDIT: omg, he made 5 posts in the time it took me to type this. |

Wow, find a new hobby you useless troll.
Anyway...I am going to go ahead and say Rogues and Shamans are the most powerful decks in the block. I say rogues because i'm a bit partial as you can tell from my previous posts They got an unblockable 2 drop, a pretty nice card drawer and 2 drop in Sygg, and they make use of one of the best cards in the format: Bitterblossom. They are pretty potent imo. Regardless, tribal decks are obviously the strongest decks in the format. |

| The most important thing that comes to my mind, beyond tribal decks, is that I think Firespout IS the Wrath of God of this format. If you can design a control deck with this card in mind, it should do well. Unfortunately the good control colors are....the other three. |

i could definitely see a R/G/W control deck able to splash for almost anything. centered mainly on firespout and austere command.
other than that, the mana fixing available combined with the amazingness of hybrid cards makes a lot of stuff possible color-wise.
and like u said...rogues and shamans are very kickass
...they should reprint the ally color signets in eventide too
EDIT: Hurly Burly pokes rogues in the anus hard |

| Eventide will have the enemy colours represented not the allied ones. So you can forget about signets. |

| I'm sure that hybrid decks will be as strong as tribal decks. Check out last trial. If a deck like that, which is almost Lorwyn Block, can win a T2 Trial, what can we say about block? |

| so anyone wanna take a crack at making this RGW control deck. I think it will be very good post shadowmoor due to like all decks being creatures. Now that we have nice mass removal we can handle these aggro decks. |

| RG decks packing Chameleon Colossus, Faeries, and Red Deck Wins all have a decent shot at winning post-Shadowmoor, but I think Merfolk have a legitimate shot as well. Cursecatcher makes for a decent Force Spike. |
