I heard somewhere that +1+1 tokens and -1-1 tokens remove one another, correct?

Also when a creature is persisting, it is "comming into play" correct?

I've been testing a deck on mws and every other person says that +1+1 counters dont annul -1-1 counters, and they forfeit making it hard to play.

The rullings concerning +1+1 and -1-1 counters have changed a bit... now they do annul each other, to avoid lots of different counters on the same permanent.

With Time Spiral they added a SBE (State-Based Effect) that made -1/-1 and +1/+1 counters remove each other. Those people are wrong.

I am also wondering about Serrated Arrows as an answer to Persist. Seems perfect to my eyes.

seems kinda janky for that purpose, but it would be at least semi effective.
