| I think historically they have been ranked as constructed and of course they should be. Constructed rankings are meant to reflect the building and playing of T2 decks and just because the tournaments could not be officially sanctioned for another week or so doesn't matter to M-L really since none of the tourneys are sanctioned anyways. Other is meant for random stuff like MYOS, fantasy T2 (whatever happened to these they were fun), ByoBlock, Tribal, and in a perfect world Two-Headed Giant (one day I'm sure). M-L for me is more fun in the periods when more "Other" formats are being played. |

| yes but some judges rank them as other, while some rank them as constructed. i can understand why they do this as other is supposed to be formats not normally sanctioned by the dci, but this is really inconsistent that some minis are ranked in different categories even though they are the same format. judges need to have a meeting or something and choose 1 category for these tournaments to be under. this happens whenever a new set comes out |

Any judge putting them in Constructed does not know any better.
When I was a judge, we were supposed to put formats with new sets in other, since they are not legal frmats ANYWHERE. Same for EDH, Prismatic, MYOS, etc. etc. |

they are supposed to be rated as "other" as long as you play with an inofficial spoiler
since all cards have now been confirmed, its no longer a "custom" set, but the really existing cards with definately correct wording |
