How can I stop Internet Explorer from displaying my previous search results in a drop down menu everytime I search for something on a website (Ex. Yahoo Music).

I don't like family to see what I searched in the past (Ex. Porn) Embarassed

Deleted cookies, history and internet files did NOT help.

It might be my computer that saves the history. If so how do i fix that?

Internet Explorer doesn't even block some spyware automatically nor does it check websites when you enter them.

Go to firefox.com and download mozilla firefox it is better by far. This way your family will use explorer and you use firefox and you don't have to worry about these things.

I've had this problem!!!

Internet Options -> Content -> Auto Complete -> Delete Auto Complete history.

I also think you can stop your computer from doing it in Advanced.

if this is a shared computer, you should really create your own account and then not let family members use that account

I second this. Many of the so-called "innovations" of Firefox were only innovations with respect to IE; they were actually pioneered first with Opera. Opera is the best browser available.
