Suppose:
* I have barren glory and 6 lands (and nothing else) in play
* I have no cards in my hand
* I have Greater Gargadon suspended with 10 time counters on it.
to win the game via barren glory's win condition, can I sacrifice the lands during my upkeep?
Or does the win condition have to be true when the ability check triggers at the start of my upkeep, as well as when it resolves? (in which case, I would have to sacrifice the lands at the end of my opponent's turn) |

No, you don't get to choose, MistyFatDog is wrong.
Barren Glory has an intervening if clause (just like Bridge from Below). They are of the form When [trigger condition], if [intervening clause], [effect]. They won't even trigger if the intervening clause isn't true at the time it would trigger.
So you would have to sacrifice the lands in the End of Turn Step for the Barren Glory to even trigger in your upkeep.
Intervening “If” Clause
Triggered abilities with a condition directly following the trigger event (for example, “When/Whenever/At [trigger], if [condition], [effect]”) check for the condition to be true as part of the trigger event; if it isn’t, the ability doesn’t trigger. The ability checks the condition again on resolution. If it’s not satisfied, the ability does nothing. Note that this mirrors the check for legal targets. Note that this rule doesn’t apply to any triggered ability with an “if” condition elsewhere within its text. See rule 404.3. |

| Hardtrack is correct, the "if" clauses in Bridge and Glory work the same way in that, the requirements for the trigger must be met at time of trigger, and at time of resolution of the trigger. |

Well, the list does have 7 sulfurous blasts, so it should at least be able to beat faeries |
