On Saturday, April 19th there will be a convention held at the Rutgers NJ College Ave Gym. In addition to magic there will also be some gaming, anime, etc things going on.
Location:
130 College Ave
New Brunswick, NJ 08901
There will be 2 pods of the main tournament:
Lorwyn Sealed Deck
32 person swiss, 5 rounds + Top 8
1 Lorwyn Sealed Deck and 2 Morningtide Boosters
$10 entry fee (far less than the product itself costs!)
Signups at 1:00, starts at 2.
Prize Structure:
1st: Box
2nd: 1/2 Box
3-4th: 1/4 Box
5-8th: 4 Packs
Also they will be holding first come, first serve 8 man single elimination draft pods. These also only cost $10 and have 12 packs prize to split amongst the 2 finalists. These will go as long as time or product permits.
These tournaments are all DCI sanctioned also!
Before anyone says it... yes we know this tournament is the same day as one of the prerelease days. You could always just go to that sunday and attend this event on Saturday. At $10 for sealed deck, how can you lose?? |

| They couldn't get a room for any other day, so this is the day. You can always go to the prerelease sunday, thanks for not reading. |

| I read it and my point still stays, GL with that. Not many people are able to go to long tournaments on sundays as school the following day is often an issue. Personally I wouldn't be going to new jersey anyway, but it may be an issue for others. |

| This was really the only day they could do it. School ends a few weeks after and the convention is funded by the school's money. This was the only day they could get a large enough space rented out for this event :/ |
