Reading an article from WotC entitled "The Five Lost Tribes of Morningtide" I found an assassin deck that looked interesting so I've decided to try it out. I've dropped and added a couple of cards from what they had but here it is. This deck isn't meant to be great in competitive play ok so don't harass it too much. Very cheap in price also.
24x Swamp
2x Big Game Hunter
3x Cairn Wanderer
3x Ghostly Changeling
3x Moonglove Changeling
4x Nekrataal
4x Scarblade Elite
2x Royal Assassin
4x Nameless Inversion
4x Terror
4x Whispersilk Cloak
2x Liliana Vess
So what do you think. |

i posted this list up on mtgs a while ago, i think this deck isnt really that bad, you just really have to have some sort of card draw, so i added blue for finkel also wings of VV is sooo good
heres my list
4 scarblade elite
4 garza's assassin
4 nekkeratal
4 shadowmage infiltrator
3 wings of velis veil
4 nameless inversion
4 thoughtseize
3 loxodon warhammer
4 distress
3 phrexian ironfoot
the mana base is still a bit up in the air
but im sure it would be somethign like
3 underground river
4 river of tears
1 urborg
3 mutavault
X swamps
heres my explainations
explainations on some certain choices
4 infiltrator- he draws cards and has some evasion and isnt killed by shriekmaw
4 distress - this deck loses to chameleon collosus, period, the thoughtseize and distress are in here to try to eliminate him can really help against a lot of decks ripping 2 cards out of their hand in 2 turns
3 loxodon - this card is just so good in this deck you take cost efficient bodies and make anyone a threat.
3 phrexian ironfoot- he is big, and blocks and kills shriekmaw.
edited: for explainations |
