Wow wonderful insight... I mean seriously I don't think I could've written a better way giving someone suggestions on how to improve on a deck. But of course you must be Budde or something to be able to just put down someone else's idea... or you could just go back to your little netdeck. |

No I don't mind netdecks. I actually use them from time to time. But if I'm working on an idea just don't say it sucks and not give a suggestion to make it better or say why it sucks. My two favorite decks were Mirari's Wake and then during IBC Lightning Angel. So I can live with people netdecking but if you can't do anything but netdeck and bash peoples original ideas I don't like it. Give me something constructive.
Also if people like me didn't come up with ideas, granted mine aren't as refined as the pros since they do a lot more testing than I do, then there would be netdecks for you to use. You do realize they go through hundreds of deck ideas before they find the one that works they don't just say hey it's a new set let's just put these cards together and win a pro tour. They bounce their ideas off each other and improve the deck as needed. |

| Shriekmaw is infinite times better than festercreep. You might want to add some mana accelerators, i don't know whats in block. Maybe leaf gilder. Ponder is also better than thieves fortune. Some counterspells would be good. Negate maybe. |

Well most of block runs black creatures, namely Faeries, Rogues and Mannequin, which makes Maw useless 95% of the time whereas Festercreep can kill all those guys along with Elves and Kithkin early.
I have Fertile Ground in there as mana accel to join with the Garruk and also give me access to any color I need.
I like Ponder but it only goes 3 deep. I wanted instant speed that will get me deep and find me a card I need along with being able to get rid of the junk. Ponder can still leave you with stuff that's uselss on top though granted Theives Fortune can put good stuff on bottom, it also does find you what you need a little better if a little more expensive. If anything I'd trade out Research the Deep for Ponder.
And there aren't any real good counters in block. There's Familiar's Ruse, Not enough creatures, Broken Ambitions, Heavy mana requirement not too bad, and a few other random ones but I was looking at that... Where's Undermine when you need it? Also in block most decks are creature decks so Negate isn't too thankful |

| Like I mentioned to the other guy is that Shriekmaw is nearly useless in block. With all the decks running black creatures there is virtually no creature for him to target which is why I went with Fleshcreeper over Shriekmaw seeing as how he can stop all the early elves, kithkin, faeries, and Rogue... But other than that I like your list... though I can see some problems with Sower an Cloudthrasher stepping on each other toes... |
