I like the gnats a lot better with a zero mana cost makes things more interesting,sure with glimpse of nature it's ridiculous.
I think that if you make the the sac ability give +1/+0 counters instead it still gives room for cheap bored sweepers to give decks a chance to race.
I think it would also sound a lot more plague-y and black if there was some life-loss on the owners end. It would add to flavour.
"When Plague Gnats comes into play, you lose life equal to half your life rounded up" could work...that way if you play at least 5, your sitting at a vunerable life total of 1
like this it's under control in each format if ever were to enter.
Vintage- there's already kobold clamp...so is proof that this couldnt take over vintage
Legacy- Legacy has the right tools
extended- the life loss would help the red decks,game 2 is when decks playing black get there business discard spells to strip you hand, ATM chalice still exists along with leyline of singularity. I can only see white decks having a problem unless they can race fast enough with a wrath and some stall. |

I have my doubts that a 5/4 first strike haste would see print at 5 mana, especially with that ability.
I'm not sure if you ever played when Fireblast was legal, but it was sick in sligh. This guy gives you an amazing body for the cost and turns all your spells into fireblast variants. |

I'd slow down on making cards for now, and work on improving the depth and flavour.
The small cycles you put together, there's only some mechanical connection between them, and the flavour is lacking.
the weir woods...you shouldn't have the lose the game clause...it's not powerful enough...and based on a cycle devoted to sacrificing things to help other things...kinda defeats the purpose...and you get raped by mill that way.
Just look at the cards you have now, clean them up a bit.
Sylvan wayfarer should be an elf, just make it an elf druid, it doesnt need to be a cleric, might as well not make i white then also... the search is not really a white ability. It would have to have the "if you opponent controls more lands the you" quote to be white |
