| Im here to ask the question, can there be too much magic? I have been playing for 8 years and still cant get enough. If im not playing magic, im reading magic if im not doing that im going threw my cards building new decks or tweaking old ones. My wife says im obsessed and my mom thinks i should get cousiling. So again i ask, can there be too much magic? |

Too much of anything can be bad. Period.
Realizing the problem is the first step. Now hopefully you can do something about it. I recommend finding another activity to do. |

Polar sheep,
I've got a question I'd like you to think about:
Do you care about what your wife and mom think?
If No, play as much as you want, be happy and maybe we'll meet in 2048 at the R. Garfield-memorial-Day..
If Yes, consider taking that counsil, or find another way to clear your head of this game and enjoy life in other ways (with your wife and mom).
grz. boeda
btw. I tried to learn my mom the game, that is NOT the solution |

Well you managed too get a wife and play magic thats pretty rare, so you havent like totally failed at life (unless shes fat)
So we can assume that you dont see women as a distraction too playing magic, if its getting to that point its getting pretty unhealthy.
Its all really about having fun so thats the question you need to ask, if you havent already i suggest you read finkles interview with BDM on magicthegathering.com it may help. |

these are some things you can do:
(im assuming you have a job)
1. take up a sport. you dont have to be good, but getting exercise is better than magic all day and its healthy obviously, in greece, everyone plays soccer-basketball, and not everyone is a professional player
2. Join a gym. Once again, good for you.
3. get a new hobby-my dad for instance, makes things out of wood. you can also try building models, collect something(other than magic cards, maybe stamps) |
