Hi guys, now that was a hell of round 2. First we had 28 players, which is a lot -> a lot fun. Then i forgot to ban alot of cards, some cards where missed completly(Distress, ghostquarter, barrenglorry.....) . The only one who took big advantage out of my banning mistakes is also the winner. Another thing i noticed is that a lot of the players didnt seem to notice that the banned list changed. So for everyone: There will be changes every round, so look for them under the standings. Now lets get to the decks played this round.
1.KeySam – Bittress - Black Lotus, Duress, Bitterblossom([111] Thistime my read on the meta was better and it payed off, although i overrated bitterblossom a bit, i lost to a power 3 creature turn 1 on the draw[without factory])
2.denvermagic - energy tongs - saprazzan skerry, scalding tongs, energy field ([78] Energy tongs wasnt good in a meta with ghostquarter, barrenglory and other stuff)
3.Stone-ThrowingDevils - am I out or can I try again... - Rushwood grove, Eureeka, Simic Sky Swallower([31] You have to build faster decks and use more optimal cards, e.g. if you played akroma or platinum angel your result would be a bit better)
4.jcsuperstar – Manazap - Black Lotus, Magus of the Moon, Glowrider([114] This deck is very powerful, i think its maybe even too powerful for this round i want to discuss if i should ban glowrider and magus, i feel like those control cards on a stick are too powerful)
5.Gushatog - Barren Glory - Black Lotus, Black Lotus, Barren Glory([138] Well gratz on winning this round, i wondered your the only won playing barren glorry, after i realised i forgot to ban it)
6.Apex - Ooo! Shiny! - Treasure Hunter, Black Lotus, Trinisphere([84] I know that was your first time playing 3cb, it is an interesting deck, althoug i think if you want to play trinisphere stax is maybe better, although with ghost quarter unbanned this round its a metagame call for this round)
7.Davelusher - I like men - Mishra's Worshop, Tangle Wire, Steel Golem([46] Tangle Wire is not nearly as good as trinisphere, i wonder how good a stax deck with 2 steel golem would do)
8.Hank333 - A Great deal of draws - Black Lotus, Skittering Skirge, Funeral Charm ([80] Drawing too often doesnt bring you to the top 5 usualy)
9.toguppy - Faery Tribute - phyrexian tribute, bitterblossom, Subterannean hangar ([24] Another real slow deck, but with a worse wincondition, and phyrexian tribute was also a horrible choice cause it takes a billion turns to kick in)
10.delicous - Here Comes The Juggernaut – Channel, Havenwood Battleground, Darksteel Colossus([66] I think you missed that black lotus was not banned this round, look at deck 25 and see how mutch points you lost cause of that)
11.coolcreep - It hits the fan. Then it hits your mom in the face. - Tomb of Urami, Funeral Charm, : Subterranean Hangar([73] Thistime your metagame read wasnt good, i think you didnt notice that ghostquarter wasnt banned, cause of my mistake. Althoug it wouldnt change a lot)
12.Halinn – Build-A-Bear - Black Lotus, Sheltered Valley, Words of Wilding([97] I give the innovation award for this round to this deck, cause it added sheltered valley to the deck, which turned out to be very strong. Its a pitty it didnt do better, although it did fine)
13.Aule - Bitter is Better – Bitterblossom, Mishra's Factory, Mox Jet([69] I know i was hyped about that deck last game, i still like it alot, although i think now after seeing sheltered valley, that the right land for this deck is not factory, its sheltered valley, because you can start to block creatures and just constantly fly in for 1. Of course with black lotus unbanned you can add a 1 mana control card to the mix. That however is a metagame call)
14.HUNGTACTICS - I read this off the guide site.dec - Saprazzan Cove, Energy Field, Scalding Tongs(78] see deck 2)
15.Middleman - Better than Shroud - Norin the Wary, Genesis Chamber, Sandstone Needle([45] Antoher one who missed that black lotus is legal. With black lotus your results would have been infinitly better)
16.Senadai - Mono Black Control - Subterranean Hangar, Nevinyrral's Disk, Nether Spirit([63] I liked that deck, although it to slow to put up insane results)
17.EddieV - Big and bad - Hickory Woodlot, Tempting Wurm, Tempting Wurm([66] Between, Barrenglorry, ghost quarter and darksteel colossus, this deck was small and nice)
18.MIZDX – Overrun - City of Traitors; Isochron Scepter, Raise the Alarm ([74] I think that this version is better then the version with lightning helix, cause it can win against leveler decks. Something else, i think you where the person who thought his deck is hard to calculate, in fact thalid, thalid, pendelhaven is a lot more complicated then this]
19.SumPhatGuy - Long black train.dec - Dryad Arbor, Unmask, Sickening Shoal([90] Similar to my deck from last round. If i played thisdeck lastround and you played mine thisround, both of our results would have been better. But i realy like the flexibility of Unmask/Sickening Shoal)
20.Dusk_- Walking the Line - Maze of Ith, Rushwood Grove, Garruk Wildspeaker([52] Another deck thats very slow, although maze can help. But a lot of decks had multiple threads. And its very vounarable to discard)
21.da_penguin - Untitled - ghost quarter, mercadian bazaar, demonfire([76] There you see why ghostquarter is banned usualy.)
22.gluedman - ok we can try to your way - mox jet, mishra's factory, bitter blossom([69] see deck 13)
23.tcook589 - VacancyMan FTW - Hickory Woodlot, Tempting Wurm, Seal of Primordium([85] Another Tempting wurm deck. Although seal gave you some extra points)
24.Stryfe- - Quarter This - Ghost Quarter, Mishra's Workshop, Steel Golem([109] This deck just added a good win condition to ghostquarter and you see the difference to deck 21)
25.Nocco - Untitled - Black Lotus, Channel, Darksteel Colossus([107] This deck did well. Nothing more to say)
26.dchamp – juggernaut - mishra's workshop, mana vault, leveler([89] Thistime the channel darksteel collosus version was superior. But its a metagame call)
27.Noname1 – Untitled - Durkwood Baloth, Crack the Earth, Taiga([78] this deck could have used ghostquarter for this round and it would done better, although i think it was just netdecked)
28. SchwipSchwap - Wacky Workshop Wonders- Mishra's Workshop, Thorn of Amethyst, Steel Golem([85] Another deck who could have used ghostquarter. I know that you didnt know the banned list changed, so its not suprising you didnt do to well this round)

Banned Decks:
*Any deck that can feasibly force your opponent to discard more than 1 card a turn. (The word force here is important. Mind Bomb is still legal, unless combined with Mindslaver)
*Any deck that can feasibly win on the first turn
*Any deck that contains a card that lets you choose a nonland card from a players hand and discard it(Unmask is still legal)
3-Card Blind (3CB) is a very unique game. The rules are as follows
Your deck is composed of 3 cards, all of which start in your hand.
You have no library (technically, the library exists, but starts at 0 cards) and no sideboard (Wishes fetch nothing).
Random effects always go in your opponent's favour.
You can see your opponent's hand, so you can always make the best possible play.
You don't lose as a result of not being able to draw a card.
You will play each opponent twice, once going first, once going second.
Decks cannot force an opponent to discard more than 1 card in a turn.
For each win, you score 3.
For each draw, you score 1.
For each loss, you get nothing.
Other than the aforementioned, EVERYTHING IS HANDLED EXACTLY LIKE A REAL GAME OF MAGIC!

| Man i've been brainstorming decks all day for this one. It is hard. Its like i want to make a deck that abuses Turbin and Digger, but if they get destroyed then most of the decks fizzle out, or i can make a deck that deals with my oppentents digger and turbin, but it loses to any deck that doesn't really worry about the cards that are out. Man... what a pickel. |

@gypse no you cant submit more then 1 deck(because i dont want to spend more of my sparetime on doing this)
I am drunk today so i wont fix the results today. I ll do it tommorow.
