I'm paired vs CompellingST. I pm him and ask to join m-l server. I created a game and waited. I asked him again to join the game, 5min later he joined and we played. I won 2-0 and reported it. Unfortunatly, I wasnT' playing vs CompellingST, I was playing vs a tard with his nickname (Or him with a different deck). Then CompellingST asked me to come to #judges4you and I lost because I didn't show up. I asked him to be gentleman because it was a terrible mistake that can't happen irl and look what he said.

There is something this league isn't understanding. TRIAL ARE NOTHING AT ALL!! Poeple act like jerk in a vitual tourney with no money! No Money at all! I understand you give no chance to poeple in a irl tourney, but again: NO MONEY IN TRIAL! Is Compelling searching for any fame by winning a trial? If you drop social for a trial, you should re-check your priority. |

Apparently cheating is getting more popular here in m-l, which means there will be more bans, which means a worse environment, which means less visitors, which sucks!
Next day we will have Detectives instead of Judges OMG  |

| You claim that he has no reason to get his "free win" because it is a prize-less online tournment, yet you create this thread where you complain about it. Now, if that's not contradicting yourself, I don't know what is. |

| Check the deck code when you enter the game, if it doesn't match raise the issue, if it does match and this issue comes up then the other player will probably be banned since there is like a 1-5000 chance any 2 random people would be playing the exact same deck. |

hes just making it aware so that other people know if they have to play him and he does it again |

I'm a little confused. This other guy had Compelling's nick on ML? Or did he join your serve game with Compelling's nick?
And did the real Compelling pm you?
And trials can be important to some people. I take the ones I play in seriously. Just because you don't think much of em doesn't mean he doesn't. And from the sound of it your the one at fault here. Trials get you byes and rating which essentially gets you more byes. All of this goes towards a master which gives money.
Trial win > social point with a random guy I'll never talk to again. |

I guess I'm going to have to clear my name... Here's my side of the stories logs, with me PMing him the whole time:

[18:57] <CompellingST> um. hello?

[19:00] <CompellingST> are you there??
[19:03] <CompellingST> ?

Match-loss timers went off at I think at 19:03 or :04. Ironicus messages me a few minute after these logs and after I had contacted the TC.
I'm pretty much 100% sure he's making up the same nickname part, because he did post a piece of the log of his game with the other player while going over the situation in Judges4You, and it was not even close to my nickname (Didn't save it, so I can't prove it). I also looked through the server and did not see he name on the list of games going.
Anyways, his behavior is nuts. I followed the rules, and he is going out of the way to break the rules now by criticizing me.
Certainly Un-Gentlemanly if you ask me. If "TRIAL ARE NOTHING AT ALL!!" why bother with all of this? |
