| The doran deck lost to the red(+GB) deck wins. It was weird. The RDW player had 2 mogg fanatics game 3 vs doran and the doran player had Dark Confidant out, he didn't kill confidant, but the confidant did like 10+ damage to him because it hit double vindicate and loxodon without any white many. Normally in that situation i would think "sac mogg fanatic to kill Bob" but he didn't, i guess he made the right play as he went on to beat the aggro loam player on game 3. Aggro loam didn't get the double red he needed to start playing out his hand proplerly and red deck had a ton of burn in hand to win the tournement. |

| the rgb deck was really awkard it played main deck cyroclasm... and i thought he should have killed my confident, he didnt ever attack me with anything. One would think killing the bob was the right play but i guess not. after the match he told me that he loves when people keep in their confidents. i just told him nice deck. |

LMAO my friend was the kid who went t2 and 3 hierarch... I also heard that the burn deck had to mull to 6 or 5 game 2 but idk for sure. all i know was he thought he was hot shit coming back here and thinking he could beat burn 90% ....
Just for the record i dominated him 8 out of 10 games as soon as he got back
anyways i really think burn should have won that tourney they're matchups seemed REALLY good ..in top 8 i think they got screwed. Look for my list in lincolns top 8 next week.. super secret tech = Lightning helix |

btw this is ben, not sure if you guys know who i am but kenny i'm the guy who beat you with rakdos when you were playing project x like a year ago in a mss q'er in wichita.
anyway, i told them maybe they should play helix, flagstones, and like ancient den. they could also play kataki sb which would help with affinity, which is like the worst matchup. they said there isn't enough room in the manabase to play white and enough artifact lands to support 4 shrapnel blast which is necessary. they probably know though.
also i think burn mulled to 6 g1 and 5 g2 |

| Y not just call the deck boros and play duels and fetch lands with creatures??? And btw we played 4 games and it was 50 50 soo... yea. ben if your going to play the doran deck i would not play meloku in the board, play another heriach. there is so much agro in this extended format, its reDICK! |

Well you take much less damage if you don't play fetches and duals. Also, by playing fanatic and marauders you make their creature kill basically pointless. I don't really care about the deck or want to build it all so i'll just say meh. thanks for your suggestions about doran. it's wierd that you say there's so much aggro in the format cuz i played against it zero times in 4 rounds. i guess the aggro decks just actually win. btw you should check out my magic forums/website, you're welcome to post and i put up a lot of current decklists:

| This matchup really comes down to play skill. in order to play nlu you have to be really good. its one of the hardest decks to play with. now with that said if the nlu player is good and has tested his deck lots, then they should win, however its not entirely lopsided. the trinket mage package helps lots in this matchup, and most of teh time the nlu player isnt that good and will fuck up. |
