It placed in a Trial a little bit ago.
IMO, I think you need to play other colors, and be able to win without a huge graveyard, due to all the splash damage you get because of Dredge.
I think playing green and running Arrogant Wurm and Wonder, along with Deeds would be good. Wurm can't be Smothered or hit by Deed in most cases, and Flying-Trample is good. |

this is the way i see it...
what are the top decks out there?
Rock (all BAZILLION FORMS)
Trinket-Goyf
Goyf here
Goyf there
GOYF EVERYWHERE
RDW
Dredge
Affinity
Tron
and Mayb gobbies
UB tog basicly RAPES rock
beats out goyf in all ways as long as you counter it or smother it or kill it which shouldnt b taht hard with the smoother and spell snare.
RDW is a pretty hard match up but as long as u keep countering them it should b ok
affinity is a hard game mayb lose game 1 but as soon as u put in the Hurkyls recall its a 50/50 game
dredge will lose as long u side in the crypts
and gobbies get raped by enginered plague
Now
the crypts may hurt tog but u can still hut them for 1 or 2 here and there and it will b slow but u will win. also if they dont get the crypt out turn 1 then u can just counter it and just kill them via old school strats |

It can make cleaver use of Counterspells and the End of Turn phase.
That said, it would still be difficult. |

| I don't see a reason not to play Tarmogoyf or even Tombstalker instead. Also, I think it's tough to beat RDW unless you play MD Force Spike. Top is great in the deck, in which case you should play Counterbalance, but that's awful against Death Cloud, and you don't have enough hard counters to stop their big spells. There are a lot of problems with the deck. If you want to try it, Paul Cheon monied with it at PT Valencia, so I'd start with his list. |

| I like how everyone thinks playing tormod's crypt in the sideboard means you beat dredge. |
