I've opened 3 Countryside Crushers in packs, so I feel obligated.. At first I tried just putting him in the "Justus Goyfs" Flow/Dreams deck, over Burning-Tree Shaman, and it was terrible. I think maybe a R/G deck would be the way to go, but with him, goyf, and terravore, i feel like the deck should be a bit more aggressive, only I'm not sure how. It also kind of seems like Burning Wish is pretty slow for this deck, and not as versatile when you aren't grabbing discard.. so I was thinking something like this
4 Devastating Dreams
4 Life from the Loam
4 ?? Burn spell? Chrome Mox? Molten Rain? More creatures?
3 Seismic Assault
4 Tarmogoyf
4 Terravore
4 Countryside Crusher
4?
4? One-drops? Two-drops?
1 Ghost Quarter
4 Tranquil Thicket
4 Forgotten Cave
4 Wooded Foothills
2 Windswept Heath
2 Bloodstained Mire
2 Stomping Ground
3 Forest
3 Mountain
In the creature slots, instead of bird of paradise, I was thinking of going an aggressive route, with Kird Ape, maybe Mogg Fanatic... maybe another two drop...Werebear? Wild Mongrel? Are those guys any good anymore? Also, the deck has no real dredge hate, so that's points for Fanatic I guess. The deck may still need a black splash for the sake of graveyard hate if nothing else.
What do you guys think?

b.wish is loam/dreams 4-7, FOR SURE it's not bad
also, crusher is only good when u have loam going, and when u have loam going u are going to win anyway, so it's overkill. |

stick to your doran deck lol.
the deck wants birds (if u are a good bluffer u can knock their socks off with 3rd color) and wall of roots. wall is amazingly annoying for the burn decks and overall that MU becomes quite easy. the devastating dreams kills tons of decks. the loam engine kills blue.
it's a strong deck imo, and ive been playing it in 1.x along with my 2 UW creations.
more technology to consider is garruk.... the death cloud deck popular on here wins by stickin a planeswalker on the board and then board sweeping. the strategy might work in this deck too tho i cant find room for garruk anywhere.
chrome mox is fairly important.
and u should try and get the 4th seismic ssualt. aggro matchup needs a turn 2/3 assault to really purr.
why ar eu drifting from doran so fast?! |

i probably won't play this deck, i'm just bored plus i think it would be a good deck to add to the testing gauntlet, i'm not the only one with it on my mind. Also, I can't play in the PTQs in February because of family obligations, so who knows if Doran will be good in a month and a half anyways
so you've suggested something more like this
4 Burning Wish
3 Life from the Loam
3 Devastating Dreams
4 Seismic Assault
1?
4 Tarmogoyf
4 Terravore
4 Countryside Crusher
4 Birds of Paradise
4 Wall of Roots
1 Ghost Quarter
4 Tranquil Thicket
4 Forgotten Cave
4 Wooded Foothills
2 Windswept Heath
2 Bloodstained Mire
2 Stomping Ground
3 Forest
3 Mountain
The countryside crusher I'd say isn't only good when loam is going, it's fine when you cycle lands, use fetchlands, and it finds you gas to set up your loam anyway, much like dark confidant did in the RGB version, but I don't think the deck really needs black. I could be wrong about all of this of course (I've certainly been wrong before). I don't know how to get Chrome Mox in there though, other than cutting a land or two.
Any tech for the wishboard other than the normal suspects? (Hull Breach, Shatterstorm, Shattering Spree, Pyroclasm, Devastating Dreams, Life from the Loam, Nostalgic Dreams)... the only thing I thought of was Overmaster to force through a Devastating Dreams...but that's not -that- great. |

pernicious deed is good.
so is e. witness.
and if you're going to run burning wish why not have 1 cranial extraction sb so you don't autolose to dredg. I hear it's also good vs Ideal.`
and maybe try out 2 x scapeshift? |

scape shift makes a really big terravore and crusher, and it fits the curve with those creatures perfectly.
oh and it's pretty good with loam.
as of cranial extraction -
turn 2 wish
turn 3/4 depending on birds - extract bridge/ichorid/etc
as of now the deck seems to lose automatically game 1 vs dredge and ideal considering it's not running deed. |

| aldaryn, actually I play Just Us Goyfs and replaced BTS with Crushers and they are very good. Not quite as good as Terravore in most situations but still pretty good. |

yes.
Still I heard André Coimbra as made a lot of changes to the deck but the guy said he couldn't tell them. I'll ask André Coimbra but even if he tells me I won't be able to share it because he doesn't want his deck to get leaked before the GP like in block when he was testing GW Goyf. |
