| i couldn't find it personaly, but could someone put up the rule why doubling season doesn't work with planeswalkers |

Q: How would planeswalkers work with Doubling Season? For example, if I play Ajani Goldmane with Doubling Season in play, does it come into play with eight counters on it? Also, when I use its ability to gain two life, do I put two counters on it?
A: Doubling Season alters what happens when an effect would put counters on a permanent you control. This means that a Ajani Goldmane will come into play with eight loyalty counters if you control Doubling Season. However, activating the first ability of each planeswalker is not an effect, it is a cost. So Doubling Season will not cause two counters to be added to Ajani when you activate its first ability. |

| You already made a thread for this same topic and question, you should of used that one rather than start a new one everytime you have a slightly different question. |
