actually extirpate is amazing against dredge you just have to know what to name, bridges arent the real thing you need to worry about early game, what kills you is dread return, it will buy you a few turns. Plus the fact that dredge already assumes that any deck with black plays leyline, so they side in chains and echoing truths against it, which is pretty much a dead hate card in thier deck against you, extirpate is a blowout, i found this out in louisville this weekend 4-4 for the day, made a few mistakes that cost me 2 matches, lack of sleep and not reading the last line in porphory nodes lost me the other two, but oh well had a good time, my buddy derrick top eighted playing a different version of what i played. i will say the meta out of 156 was about 45 dredge, 35 countertop goyf, 25 doran, 25 goyfburn,
20 or so zoo variants and a few affinity. the top eight reflected the meta as well as far as percentages
2x dredge
1 doran rock
1 affinity
1 gifts rock
1 zoo
and some other deck i didnt see
but good job everyone enjoyed it. blue grass magic kicks ass i will definitly be going back to kentucky |
