Before the Trial they're weren't tons but a decent amoutn of MYOS mini's. The fact that a trial was held implys that their will be more and even a Master at a later date...

Or was that just a tease to get people turned on to the format (it worked) and then drop it entirely?

I know you can't make everyone happy, but I'm not talking only for myself here...

So...can we see another MYOS trial at somepoint in the calendar and not in 3 months?

Eh, MYOS is neat, but I think having MYOS trials/masters would be just about as valid as having say, a Rainbow Stairwell trial.

I'd rather have trials in relevant tournament formats, personally.

True, one trial that was either on Christmas Eve or Christmas day, I think.

Maybe next Christmas we can have another. Smile

people come to this league to test, so in such they host trials/masters relevant to what ever big DCI event is coming up. The MYOS trial was a nice occurrence but don't expect another one any time soon. I don't know who told you they were continuing with the format, that info was wrong. It was a special trial for an special occasion.

The fact that you were getting MYOS minis before had to do with Elim's daily other minis. Those have ceased for a while now also. Minis are held at a judges discretion totally. So the only way for you to get more MYOS tourney's is to become a judge and host them yourself.

Personally I always thought MYOS was a dumb format, and am glad its not getting anymore trials.

Its pretty self-explanatory. Pick 2 blocks and any edition from 5E-10E. And build a deck with em. Legacy rules apply.

The MYOS trial was a special format for the holidays. It's more optimal to run trials for formats that are important for real life tournaments so we can attract visitors.

I like the idea just to break up the game a bit. It makes builders take a look at cards in a very differant way.

Like playing Vindicate, Angel of Dispair, and Wrath of God in the same deck. In an undefined meta WU, WB, UB, WUB control should always be a safe choice.

My choice off the top of the dome would be 5th, Apocalypse, and Guildpact. I would play Vindicate, AoD, Wrath of God, Tron, Recall, Phyrexian Arena, Invoke the Firemind, Orzhov Signet, Izzet Signet, Castigate, Gerard's Verdict and other good stuff.
