don't download that. Its not finished and will generally fuck your database up if your new to mws. Adding and editing individually added cards sucks. And this idiot can't comprehend that not only are 6 cards missing but that a few have errors on them as well.

go figure. Wait till the spoiler finishes.

that is probably just because you dont know how to add the card right

I have been using the text spoiler patches for new sets for a while now and have little to no problems

You've been using ones that are completely finished. This league has been giving text patches as long as I've been here. But the problem is some idiot always fucks it up and the people who grab it early go around playing with crappy patches. Did you know my sower of temptation stillm read 1/1 on my appr. And that soo many people thought Nova Chaser had cost 2R.

All this shit because people can't wait till a mtgs spoiler is actually finished, You don't have to wait for the prerelease. Wait till the damn thing is finished. Why? because it still has errors on it. Hell just a few days ago they had sigil tracer's ability costing U instead of UU and that they had Knowledge Exploitation on there, but now its gone? why because it wasn't right.

That patch up above has a blank Knowledge Exploitation with only being down as a sorcery which is again wrong cause most believe it to be a tribal sorcery.
It also has non-confirmed cards like scapeshift. Which is in fact a card but one that nobody knows anything about.

[14:58] <~TomW> along with several other rogue creatures/tribal spells
[14:58] <~TomW> now why would Knowledge Exploitation be on it
[14:59] <~TomW> if it was just a sorcery
[14:59] <@Kaiser> http://forums.mtgsalvation.com/showthread.php?t=99010
[14:59] <~TomW> yeah
[14:59] <~TomW> thats the number crunch
[15:01] <~TomW> "I'm thinking Knowledge Exploitation can't be that simple. Firstly it's on the tribal Rogue poster so it must be a Tribal Sorcery - Rogue at least. Also, seven mana for it is also way too pricey, I definately suspect there will be a Prowl cost for this to make it slightly competitive. Something like 3uu with a Prowl Faerie or Rogue will make it maybe see play."
[15:01] <~TomW> that was on the number crunch
[15:02] <~TomW> again can't find the link to the rogue poster
[15:03] <~TomW> http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=mtgcom/arcana/1498
[15:04] <~TomW> there it is
[15:04] <~TomW> first name on that poster
[15:04] <~TomW> hmm wonder why
[15:05] <TrueEeviL> lawl

Just a convo I had on this spoiler I thought was relevent.

EDIT - bolded relevant parts

well if that is your problem then just simply dont bother with the new set until it is finished, but people like me like to play with the set as soon as they can, no matter how much of it is finished or correct. I personally keep myself updated with mtgs spoilers so if something does change then I personally change my patch to reflect it.

my problem is people are gonna be dling this patch and not gonna change the errors and then 3 months from now, were still gonna be dealing with errors from idiots.

and since a great deal of that patch is wrong and some of the current spoiler as well all your doing is playing with bad cards. But go ahead, as you pointed out... thats what people like you like to do, right?

Craze has a point there. I love playing with images. It makes the game much more interesting and fun, and it sucks when I see 0/0 Guiles or unofficial lorwyn spoilers with lots of errors. It's ok if people download these patches, as long as they keep updating the wrong stuff of the cards, which so many people don't do! Evil or Very Mad

I think Y was on the ball about the spanish website...

YTheAlien wrote:

Knowledge Exploitation (5UU Rare that lets you search your opponent's library for a spell or permanent and play it.)

It gets added to the spoiler. Then, sporvan posts:

Quote:

Also, seven mana for it is also way too pricey, I definately suspect there will be a Prowl cost for this to make it slightly competitive. So KE gets deleted for being too speculative and not matching known information.

Then this site posts a version of KE virtually identical to what sporvan posted here, unsourced. I'm assuming the Spanish site's source of information is actually just people's speculations posted here, put up as unsourced facts there, and then sourced here.

EDIT: It also lists Slithermuse's evoke cost at 3U which is probably based on posts here as well.

You make it sound as if Wizards balances extended beyond a ban list.
