How can I turn Andre Mueller's Ideal deck into a casual deck I play with friends? Need card suggestions and critiquing.

1 Godless Shrine
1 Mikokoro, Center of the Sea
1 Plains

4 Pentad Prism
4 Sensei's Divining Top

Yeah, you're going to have to define what you mean by casual. If I sat down at a casual table with a tournament winning deck - let alone a tournament winning combo deck, I'd likely be dragged out of the store and lynched.

Do what I did when I was younger and all my friends played casual mtg: play hardcore shit and force them to step it up and stop being geeks and start being powergamers.

how are sol rings (plural???) casual? casual does not mean "play 4x of any card"...

I don't see how you could make that casual, I mean, most of the cards there are for the combo. I guess you could take out burning wish and use something not so good, but tuning-down a tournament winning COMBO deck to make it casual is very hard. I guess you could also use different enchantments for some fun around the table.

I once took harsh advantage of these casual geeks at some little games shop and played a mind over mana deck post masques, but with sol ring, mana vault, mana crypt etc etc. So hilarious.

tolarian academy X4
sol ring X4
Mana vault X4
Voltaic Key X4
Lotus petal X4
Stroke of Genius X 4
Mind over matter X2
Time Spiral X4
Frantic Search X4
BrainstormX4
Grim Monolith X4
Chrome MOx X4
kaerveks tourchX1
Ponder X 3
Island x 14

this is pretty casual... not really tested, just off the top of my head. Should kill turn 2-4 pretty consitently through some forms of disruption.

you do realise the point of casual is having fun not killing people on the first 3 turns, so dont play combo decks in casual just play decks with cards you like to play with.

(wins/won on turn one consistently and only needs one megrim)
4 Defense Grid
4 Lions Eye Diamond
4 Lotus Petal
4 Mana Vault
4 Memory Jar
4 Mox Diamond
4 Dark Ritual
1 Megrim
4 Vampiric Tutorial
2 Yawgmoth's Will
4 Brainstorm
1 Mystical totor
4 Tinker
3 Ancient Tomb
4 City of Brass
2 Gemstone Mine
3 Underground River
4 Underground Sea

Post my old stasis deck, which forced people in my area to step up their fairly casual extended game and resulted in me being undefeated(in games, not matches) for four months straight...I alternated between it and an ancient list of the Rock and his millions(the actual deck)...

4 Bayou
2 Dust Bowl
8 Forest
5 Swamp
4 Treetop Village
23 lands

4 Birds of Paradise
1 Phyrexian Plaguelord
4 Spike Feeder
2 Spike Weaver
4 Spiritmonger
3 Wall of Roots
4 Yavimaya Elder

1 Choke
4 Duress
1 Living Death
4 Pernicious Deed
2 Phyrexian Furnace
1 Recurring Nightmare
2 Vampiric Tutor

The stasis deck was something like this:
// Deck file for Magic Workstation (http://www.magicworkstation.com)
// NAME: Untitled Deck

// Lands
2 [PS] Forsaken City
23 [10E] Island (1)

// Creatures
2 [US] Morphling

// Spells
2 [TSB] Claws of Gix
3 [10E] Boomerang
3 [BD] Impulse
4 [TE] Propaganda
3 [NE] Daze
4 [7E] Counterspell
2 [MM] Thwart
4 [AL] Force of Will
4 [MM] Gush
4 [5E] Stasis

No slots in the stasis deck should be fooled around with unless your friends really suck. This stasis deck used to beat trix and stuff.

like i said playing casual isnt about playing broken decks where your friends will hate you, its about having fun and using fun card interactions which arent exactly tournament worthy

lennin i understand what you mean but my friends can act quiet noobish with their decks and its so annoying I want to make a deck that will win everytime I play them so they stop making stupid decks.

ya but theyre playing casual thats the point u moron, if u just keep killing them on turn 3 theyre just not gonna play with you anymore and where is that gonna get you nowhere, the point of casual is to have fun with cards you like, its not like theyre playing tournaments so who cares if theyre noobs.
