Ok so i went to a ptq a couple of days ago, i played affinity and didnt do so good. My question is that in this current meta is tooth and nail viable? I think it beats control with boseiju, beats aggro with peace and o-stone,etch, its only bad matchup is combo or bridge which you can solve with sb solutions. My friend played a weird version with black and it used urborg+coffers to generate a lot of mana, he was 2-1-1 when i left and he actually beat ideal after they had cast ideal and gotten 3 enchantments with it Very Happy So any comments or ideas?

....This is so wrong its unbelievable. Venser isnt even good in this format. Do you know why the kid who won Valencia ran venser? B/c LSV ran a joke deck on modo with that combo and he ended up modifying that deck. And that is why people play venser. The only deck its good agianst is ideal and the blue decks have them covered in so many other ways, venser is next to usless.

The best control deck in extended is NLB, and it doesn't even run venser as a wish target.

Gaddock Teeg is pretty decent against it also, and all of the BGW decks run him at least in the board.

They didn't add it to the deck until lsv played his joke deck.
