so i have 43.dec, if you couldn't read, and i want a creature that would go against the online metagame (this deck is gettng very expensive to make)

Good Match-ups: some aggro, any control

bad match-ups: discard and LD.

some problems are like the normal powerhouse tribal (gobs, slivers, elves)

so, i was thinking maybe meddling mage to stop tarmo___.dec and just say tarmo for the shits and giggles of it?

so what is your though ML?

The deck sucks. Don't play it.

If you insist on playing it though, no creatures for sideboard. If the deck doesn't beat a creature-deck, then something is wrong. Tabernacle, Maze and manlands should be more than enough to consistently handle most critter-based decks and the manland beats should hand it to most control-decks. G2 you want to be able to battle combo-decks and fight hate. That's the job of your SB.

i would also say that you don't need a creature in 43.dec any version. In 1.5 ya got swords which nukes anything you'd drop.

I'm curious to know how Land D is bringing you pain considering you're running Crucible and Wastelands yourself. Unless you're talking about Pox which tears 43.dec any version a new ****.

tbh, i'd sb in a card that could help you VS DragonStompy or any of the other Rogue decks that base themselves around Magus of the Moon and Blood Moon.

As for Discard...Chalice of the Void? Life of Loam or Eternal Witness?

Granted I hate 43.dec but i'd worry more about Blood Moons and Magus.

If you want something to help you beat Pox or Land D....hmmm speed kills Pox, you dont run speed. As for Land D, inconsistency kills Land D. If you keep losing to it then somethings wrong with your deck.

Pox loses to Lands. Magus is prolly the biggest possible problem, but rather simple to solve with SB Firebolts, since you can chain them and flashback and so on. You also need to solve Chalices in case you fail to contain opponent's mana, for which EE is a pretty good option along with Pernicious Deed, Nevinyrral's Disk, Aura of Silence and so on. Basically, you want an answer that dodges Chalice at 1 and 2, can be played to pre-empt any Blood Moon-effects and wipes any potential hosers while being resolvable in the face of any such effects. Disk is sorta slow, but others can't be cast with a Moon in play. So there, something of the sort belongs on the SB. Oh, and Zuran Orb in case you have issues with aggro. And Glacial Chasm if it isn't MD. And Chalices of your own against combo along with Trinisphere.

because i run actual islands in my 43.dec, i usually don't worry about Magus or blood moon

i SB lightning bolts for magus and krosan grips for moon

i have only played a player with pox once, and thank god i had a daze, because pox>43.dec

Good news is that Magus of the Moon is more of a Rogue card, which is odd since it 100% rocks the format.

Yeah Disk could work. Right about it being slow but still. Maybe even Magus of the Disk since ya run White for Geddon. Can use him as a chump blocker and just have him out there as threat while you build your lock.
