| Would you play some counters on a merfolk drafted deck? |

fish are cheap and efficient creatures. slowly u can play them out of a game by islandwalking or lifegain or whatever. there's a difference within fish decks tho...
if you are aggro with all the islandwalkers and change-their-land spells... then its not as important. if you are summon the school/judge of currents or whatever... you are creating a loop they cant fight trhrough and counters will stop their final revels and whatnot.
make sure that you use counters only for a turn 2/3 "jump way ahead of you" card or bombs. dont broken ambitions a briarhorn just cuz u can. chances are its not affecting the gamestate enough for them to catch up. save it for real ttrouble. |

| In some formats counters are too slow and are not good, such as in Time Spiral cancel wasn't great. In Lorwyn however there are decks where they can be good. |

| Definitely yes. Most merfolk limited decks tend to lose to mass removal more than other archetypes (lots of 1 toughnes dudes) and counters are the best answer to them. |

| Its worth it to run them, especially if you've dipped into faeries and have plenty of guys with flash. |

Thanks to everyone for your answers. I didn't play them at last, I played:
17 lands
17 creatures
2 Glimmerdust nap
1 Neck snap
1 Oblivion Ring
1 Arquitect's will
1 Pollen Lullaby
I thought it was good playing Arquitect's Will because I had 2 Merrow Harbinger, 2 Streambed Arquitects and 1 Inkfathom Riders. I didn't know what to take off to put on the counters. |

I'm trying really hard not to flame you, but I'm just curious: Are you a forum troll on purpose, or just a well meaning guy who's illiterate and otherwise completely unable to communicate? |

| lennin is, to the best of my knowledge and experience, almost down to Sarcastic_Rat level of insipidity. Trolls get angry when you call him one. |
