When madness was at its best, it was an unstoppable force that dominated everything else in the T2 of the day. Now it is just too slow and one-dimensional to really perform. If you're going to play madness, you'll need a new hook or style to make the deck work.
Do you mainly play casually or are you trying to fine tune a competitive deck? |

I would probably go with Black instead of White. Gives you access to Pernicious Deed, Putrid Imp, Dark Withering, Oona's Prowler, Ghastly Demise, Smother, etc.

I agree, black is very good for Oona's Prowler. But madness is now like a bad dredge deck. You need a discard outlet, some fat, and the right lands in your hand. Dredge needs 1-2 lands, a discard outlet, and a dredge card. But, their deck is so much more explosive and roughly as consistent I think. So I see the two decks as similar, and even though you have to contend with the hate, I think I'd rather play dredge.

oh yeah usually to win madness needs to draw the right disruption too because it's slower than any combo deck and needs to disrupt control too

Dredge utilizes the graveyard and dredge mechanic. Madness utilizes discard and the madness mechanic. where dredge loses to grave hate, madness doesn't.
