I want to comment some cards,

Etched Oracle is underrated no question.

Desolation Angel, Mystic enforcer are just to slow.

Swords of light and show seems a bit odd but worth a try.

Shivan wurm, Nefarious Lich need a deck around them.

Overload? i like shattering spree over it...

Ghastly demise yea.

Opt and Pryte are played and i dont think underplayed.

I am not a fan of Recoil or Wing shards but maybe.

Stiffle and Flow are both played quite often.

Any control- or midrange-deck with blue can, and should, play them.

there is only 2 good blue decks that can play them, chase rare control can theoritcally play ti but the mana is to bad i think it would be a bad idea and jugan blue does play shackles, there isnt any other blue decks in ext right now so my point is valid

I just wonder why Hurky's Recall doesn't see play vs Affinity? To crappy in every other matchup? I could see affinity playing it for the mirror.

what i find hard to deal with in 1.x is turn 1 chrome mox and an important creature like bob, or even turn 1 lavamancer, because so many 1.x decks have such expensive removal if you aren't playing burn. smother on lavamancer is horrible tempo, it gets even worse when you wait all the way until turn 4 to wrath/damnation or even spend 2 turns playing and using deed (you can be dead by turn 4 in this format!) it is amazing how long your 1-drops can be allowed to live, which leads me to: slith firewalker. is amazing right now in rdw style decks. trust me

u can die on tunr 4 in standard that doesnt mean anything. killing a lavamncer isnt rly tempo bc they have to play spells, or lands and tap mana to activate so it costs them tempo and resources to do damage with lavamancer

everyone is talking about suppression field, but nobody is talking about damping matrix. it doesn't hurt fetchlands, but that just means you get to play them. it had its day in standard, might still be ok in slide or something.

i love desolation angel and vedalken shackles.

mystic enforcer/opt are meh, sword of light and shadow isn't better that jitte or sword of fire/ice.

ghastly demise, flow, and stifle are all played.

Damping matrix isn't played because there are other things to worry about besides artifacts and creatures...like deeds, engineered explosives, fetchlands etc etc. Suppression field is cool because it comes down on the second turn and can wreck mana bases and fuck with tops before they become active. Two colourless extra to activate anything makes a lot of stuff out of reach for long enough to win anyway.

Ghostly Prison is actually a static ability that ends upon payment of mana, its not activated. Wish it was otherwise though haha
