i added some non-lands to see how it worked and it works pretty well. i would liek some feedback and see what you think. it rapes control but gets beaten by aggro and burn.

the main thing i wanted to know ishow i can cut costs on the deck. i have started building it and you can guess which card si don't have.

i only have 1 taber, 2 maze of ith and no tropics. mishra's were a bitch to get Razz

. so you guys think breeding pools would be a cheaper way to get the UG, or what do you guys have to say, for the deck and getting it cheaper Very Happy

I don't play this deck and decks like these get killed from a blood moon or magus of the moon.

regardless.

I think you should throw in some graveyard control in your SB. Like 4. This is 1.5. Leyline of the Void or Tormod's. Theirs even a land where you can transmute for 0 to fetch for it...ya need 2 blue though :/

But that and then a Zuron Orb for when you need to buy time for your lock.

and the zuran's orb is a beautiful idea

if i play with zuran, you think i should sideboard crucible?

Life from the Loam is the standard tool of choice for the deck. 2-3 in the main is what most players use. As you already run that I do not think that you need CoW. Research/Development fetched from the side with Glittering Wish or Cunning Wish helps protect you from Crainial Extraction/Extirpate. Also it can provide an alt win (if they give you EOT tokens). Heck at the worst it gives you three free dredge with Loam in the yard.

As for the side I would side 4 Lightning Bolt to kill Magus of the Moon in the Survilal/Goblin matchup. Emerald Charm/Krosan Grip for Blood Moon and random bad things.

PS is Cunning Wish banned in 1.5???

thanks lennin for your unproductive criticism, it helped me alot and making my deck better...

and s o address your "concerns":

the sideboard is a litte messed up, you are right. if you look, they are strategic lands that maybe i will need more of, lets say they are running a deck with only a few creatures, do i need so many maze of iths?

and about boseiju, if maybe you actually read the deck, there are more non-land cards in there, my horn of greed's i would like to keep around, to draw into combos and vs. control when i couple urborg and mana web, they can't leave some mana open to counter some things.

and what is so wrong about having loam not countered?

I would cut the Vesuva in the side for Island. You can wish for them with Living Wish or Dredge for then in game two with Loam.

I would like to see Pithing Needle in the side as it owns a lot of cards. I still think that you need at least one Research/Development in the side as a Cunning Wish target.

I would run four Exploration in the main also. If you can fit one or two more Cunning Wish that would round out the deck more. Living Wish would also be great! I would say 3 of both in the deck would give you more options. That would give you the room to make more of a wish board. You know more one of cards in the side for tutoring.

One Academy Ruins would be great to protuc your Horn of Greed...
