I've beaten Pox repeatedly. Unsurprisingly though, most play the MU wrong, but when correctly played, Pox tends to deal too much damage to itself to survive. Cursed Scroll is a godsent there and Chalice should actually be set at 2. Post-sideboard, Misdirections to rape all the discard, Vindicates and LD make it very tough for Pox to win, but only if Faerie Stompy-player plays it correctly.

You can't run Mox Diamond. You need Chrome Mox simply to keep your landcount high enough. With only 19 mana sources, you cannot expect to draw enough lands to play. 22 is enough to expect the two sources you want to start with though.

why would you chalice for 1... like said above... you usually chalice for 2.. chalice for one hurts Fairies more then its typical opp.. (trinket mage?)

Also.. a pox mu isnt that hard to beat if you play it right.

Lastly, I really havent had ANY problems with the Diamonds... they have ALWAYS played better then the chromes.

Actually its funny, in the Master, the only game I really got stomped at was to Sandmanns Faerie Stompy.

I like Stompy because to some degree it's like Burn, which is to say that your odds of getting through all decks in the format are very good. It's like a jack-of-all trades deck when if tuned well can really deal damage.

Pox when it gets Stompy really revolves around land, and Stompy players being over-eager with a first turn Chalice for 1 rather than a 1st turn creature or some form of card/draw control.

Chalice for 1 on turn 1 imo is amateur hour. Least wait 1 round, see what they're playing to decide if a chalice for 1 or 2 is the best option.

Anyway, Stompy was and is a strong deck choice
