alright, trying to remember exactly how my friend and i used to construct this thing. here's what i do remember:
Land:
4x Battlefield Forge
4x Gemstone Mine
4x Sacred Foundry
3x Island
3x Plains
Spells:
4x Wrath of God
3x March of the Machines
2x Obliterate
2x Pulse of the fields
Artifacts:
4x Boros Signet (for Talisman of Impluse)
4x Darksteel Ingot
4x Darksteel Pendant
4x Gilded Lotus
4x Talisman of Progress
Pulse of the Grid and Mycosynth Lattice were definitely in the board, but i don't really remember what else.
so what i'm basically looking for is help filling out the other 11 cards. i think we ran 18 land, the majority were plains, with i think a few islands and a few mountains thrown in. the lands i have listed are just a crude idea, not sure what i'd run with what's available now.
...in case it is not obvious, the goal of the deck is to get an early turn Obliterate through indestructible artifact mana, then roll into a March of the Machines following. Proceed to stomp your opponent's face with indestructible creatures. Pendant is used as a draw mechanic as much as it allows. |

The original lists ran only the indestructible artifacts that way you play March, then Obliterate (doesn't affect enchantments) and swing away. Although that was foiled when people started siding in Ghostly Prison. Then the deck changed to Darksteel Gargoyle with Darksteel Citadel for the win.

No really this deck cant compete. Your not playing any powerfull cards like Brainstorm, Force of Will, hell your not even playing Enlightened Tutor to get the card your deck is based off of.

these types of replies are precisely why i asked for advice on filling slots out. i illustrated as much as i could remember of how we ran it in type 2 several years ago, and asked for ideas to construct it now. it's alright, though. i realize that level of effort is impossible when you have so much more to do with your time, like flame even more ridiculous posts.

Seriously Cernicolo, it's just not possible to say anything constructive about that deck. It's just too slow and it doesn't really do anything. It can only win when your opponents deck is as bad as yours or when he fails to draw ANYTHING after the initial 7 land hand he kept for some strange reason. Or maybe when he keeps an Island, Fetch, Fetch, Brainstorm, Brainstorm, Predict, Predict and draws NOTHING off of them.
