Tapping permanents, subconscious ?

For a long time now, i wonder if it might be an advantage to know how your opponents tap their permanents,
what do they think subconsciously, when you tap your permanents not as you did before in your games.
They might think that you have no more options in your hand, they might think you have many more questions in your hand.

I try to find out if it tapping the permanents to the left or to the right side, not intentionally of corse, makes a difference.
A first point is to find out, how the majority of magic players tap their permanent.

But first, to get back to the subject, ill give you an explantation of "left" and "right" and "tapping".

Tapping is a playing technique (generally associated with electric guitar playing, though the technique can be performed on any string instrument) executed by using the fingers of the picking hand to tap the strings against the fingerboard, sounding notes. Tapping (also known as a two-hand hammer-on), performed in conjunction with normal fingering by the fret hand, facilitates the construction of note intervals that would otherwise be impossible using the fretting hand alone. Tapping usually incorporates pull-offs as well, where the finger that just tapped the fingerboard to sound a note is then swept off with enough lateral motion to sound that same string again — this time on a lower note than the tap (fretted by another finger before the pull-off, or simply left open).

Maybe, one hand isn't enough for you to "tap" permanents. Her a definition of 2-handed tapping ^^
Two-handed Tapping is rather a progressive approach to play polyphonic/homophonic music on a guitar. The advantage is that it enhances the flexibility of playing a guitar; while the main disadvantage is the lack of change of timbre.(no free/rest stroke, no dolce/ponticello) Adam Fulara inspired a playing method called "Portato" to two-handed tapping. It can increase the ability to control the change of dynamic for tapping

People can "tap" their permanents to on of the two directions left and right. The right direction might be obvious since hardly anyone writes from in the other direction, from right to the left? Europe people usually write, count, watch from the left to the right.

Left, right, forward, back, left, and bus are the relative directions. They change as a person moves. People are often confused by the relative nature of these directions. "Left" for one person is different from "left" for another. Unlike the cardinal directions (North, South, East, and West), left and right are based solely on the viewer's perspective.

The terms are derived from the fact that some 90% of the population are right-handed, that is, favour their right hand for a variety of tasks. The direction right is a cognate of "right" meaning correct or good. The word "left" comes from the Old English lyft, meaning weak. This dichotomy can also be seen in the words "dextrous" and "sinister", from the Latin words for right and left.

In the vast majority of the population, the heart is slightly to the left of the body's centre line and the liver is to the right. Less visibly, the two hemispheres of the brain differ in function.

Mirrors are said to reverse left and right. Strictly, this is not true: the image of one's left hand is on his or her left-hand side. However, it is seen at the position corresponding to that of the right hand of a real person opposite to him or her. Thus one can say that the mirror has the combined effect of turning you around and reversing left and right. One can also say that it reverses front and back side. If one takes a cube and writes "left", "right", "top", "bottom", "front", and "back" and holds it so that all sides face the correct direction, then hold a mirror behind it, without moving the cube or himself or herself, one will notice that "front" and "back" are swapped in the mirror image, but the other sides are still correctly labelled.

I tap to the right, unless its a freeforall in which case I tap creatures whichever way the oppenent im attacking is.

I tap them to the right completely sideways. (most people tap at a diagonal)

whats with all the useless info? (ie. guitar finger tapping? wtf?) Confused

I tap to the left(turn the top of the card to the left). I am right handed and normally tap it that way no matter what the situation.

I turn my card to the right until it is perpendicular to it's untapped position.

I eat my cards when ever i would tap them, this helps me win many games.

soo... what is the point? you said you were trying to figure out something if someone taps them a specific way? how will figureing out which way people tap tell you what they will do/ thier play style?

i , generally being a poor or rude sport
take all the lands and (hard to describer) kind of make a full body motion to tap em all to the right
in the case of attack :/
i pick em up one by one and slam em down sideways
