Before you yell troll, realize that I'm actually writing something that can be discussed, thus its not spam. BUT if you are to ask me why you should read this, I have no answer.

now on to my rant...

First thing is first, are all my rants gone? How sad...

So as of late I've been considering new rant topics back and forth.
"10 ways to survive a horror movie?"
"10 reasons we should cook idiots instead of turkeys on Thanksgiving"
Then theres always the "10 things I'm thankful for thing"
But none of these has really had me inspired to my fullest content. Enter a random into my channel. Now for those of you not in the know, I own a channel called #bored. Don't bother joining, it's always empty and not worth your time. Only reason I have it registered is it was my first big channel I ever owned and I'm very sentimental. Now most of our server is made up of javies who think ML owns it all, so I don't get vistors to my empty channel often. But of course that doesn't mean random server explorers who join just cause they see the name and somehow think I care that they're bored. Normally this has me insulting them till they leave which takes about 10 seconds. However yesterday during the ML breakdown of all times enters someone that literally blew my mind.

1. You getting laid is in no way going to impress anyone. PERIOD

Ya know I don't get why people seem to think implying they have sex will suddenly make them more popular or somthing. Presumably everyone over 18 is getting laid in some way whether by a dog, mother, girlfriend, hand, or whatever (just listing my personal list). So why is this suddenly news worthy. And it's not just sex either. "My sweet car" or "I have such an awesome job" works just as well. Let's get one thing clear: no one cares dude.

And while we are here. If you are gonna lie, make it believable, seriously...

That's pretty much the only reason to brag about your penis size, if you wanna have sex with the person you're bragging to. Which in most online cases is a male teenager who masturbates to Tranny porn.

Ok, so anyone that thinks they need to get ops for being cool has a really sad life. I mean it's obvious you are trying to prove to yourself you are important by demanding higher authority/status. And ok that works when your asking for a promotion at work. But you are on irc you douche.
I'm going to be the first one to say I have actual friends on irc. That I have people I like and care about in channels I talk in. That is nothing to be ashamed of. Magic-League and channels you talk in are communities. However it's important to also remember you are online. Your self value is not, I repeat not equal to your irc status. I know I know, it's a bitch when the rest of your life is a failure. But that's ok. We won't tell anyone that.

8. "I'm better then you because my Magic-League/DCI rating is higher then yours"

Now before a dozen people rape me, I'm aware a DCI rating is important to most of you and that you put soo much work into it. That's wonderful. I'm sure that helps you sleep at night when you're all alone. But lets face it, that does not mean your better then me. IN ANY WAY.
And it gets about a thousand times more ridiculous when you start bragging about your Magic-League rating.
Let's just get this out of the way right now: Magic-League is a mtg site primarily used for testing. And not even pro testing either, mostly testing for FNM. So it's pretty much safe to say that most people are gonna be playing untested decks. Which means they're going to lose a lot.
This does not make you better then them. Put away your net deck and get over yourself. Your ML rating means shit.
Heres an idea, instead grab a random fun combo deck and play a little with that. Or play a deck type that normally your not soo good with. Your rating will probably go down, but who knows, maybe your skill level will go up.

9. "OMG I CAN'T SPELL OUT "U" OR "R" BECUZ I'M 2 KEWL"

"u" = you. Difference 2 letters. All next to each other
"r" = are. Difference 2 letters. All next to each other.
"2" = two, too, to. Difference 1-2 letters.

I use "lol" and "omg." I've said "rofl" and "w/e" It's shorter and faster. It looks stupid, I admit but I'm lazy. However saying "u" instead of "you" has no benefits whatsoever. You're not even saving a second there if you type correctly. And I know, all internet abbreviations are stupid. They make your arguments, opinions, and general image drop down a few meters. But as I don't ever hope to get people to quit using abbreviations totally (mostly cause I still use them). I can at least hope to eliminate the pointless ones.

"you are too funny!"

Which looks smarter? Be honest. Now try typing those and timing yourself. You're saving about one second going for the stupid route, really.

And finally my favorite...

So how is this even remotely smart or cool? I mean you obviously did not fuck a person you have never met's mom. No one is seriously going to believe this... so you are using it why?
It's funny? Not really.
You wish it were true? Probably.

Also the whole "accusing people of fucking their moms/dogs/sisters or whatever. Not at all intelligent either. You know what this generally represents? You conceding an argument and resorting to stupidity as distraction/compensation for your loss.
Seriously, just /quit irc and watch some porn for an hour or two. It's the better way.

I think your rants are getting better and better. I know it contradicts your style but you need to better learn how to handle flamers. You keep stooping to their level of childish insult and name calling, if your smart you can make your point with out having to do that and they will just get all upset and soon enough they will realise your far to cool and level headed a person.

I know from experience it can be hard when they are doing something like calling you rude or something or accusing you of insulting them when its like pot kettle black, what do you expect people to do when you insult them, ask you out on a date? But it only detracts from yourself as an author and certainly does not make anyone think anymore of you, much like bragging about your sexual conquests over the internet.
