I know that come into play abilities activate from the GY (ie dread return) and paying from your hand from your hand, what about morph and phasing?
example, I give phasing to highway robber.
It leaves the game.
It comes back.
Does coming back into the game activate its ability?
What about somehow morphing the highway robber?
When its turned face up, will that activate it? |

| phasing doesnt trigger come into play abilities and morphing a creature face up only triggers abilites like brine elemental and fathome seer ebcause they say when this creature is turn face up. it wont trigger highway robber because lets say u find a way to give it morph its already in play and wont tirrger come into play abilities |

Lennin is right:
502.15d Permanents phasing in or out don’t trigger any comes-into-play or leaves-play abilities, and
effects that modify how a permanent comes into play are ignored. Abilities and effects that
specifically mention phasing can modify or trigger on these events, however. (Because no
player receives priority during the untap step, any abilities triggering off of the phasing event
won’t go onto the stack until the upkeep step begins.)
Also, comes into play abilities dont work in the way that your thinking, because the permanent is already in play, just face down. |
