Why is this deck not played anymore? it seems really good it has enough disruption to get wins against combo and it is fast enough and big enough to beat decks like treashold. this is list that i was thinking of running let me know what you think.
4 cloud of faeries
3 sea sprite
4 sea drake
4 serendib effret
2 trinket mage
2 juggernut
3 sword of fire and ice
3 umezawa's jitte
4 chalice of the void
1 pithing needle
1 tormad's crypt
4 crome mox
3 thirst for knowledge
4 force of will
9 island
2 seat of the synod
4 ancient tomb
4 city of traitors
sb
1 engineered explosives
1 tormad's crypt
3 propaganda
3 back to basics
2 trickbind
3 chill
2 threads of disloyalty
i really didn't like psionic blast in the deck and i always seemed to have to many trinket mages but not enough targets same with the equipment. so i cut 1 of each trinket mage and one sword of fire and ice for 2 juggernuts and both psionic blast for lands (this way i don't have so many mulligans). tell me what you think. |

You may want to consider waiting to make additions until the new set comes out. I know they atleast have one faerie that is an addition to your team.
when he comes into play he counters a spell unless they pay x where x is the number of faeries in play. So at least he is force spike.
I will look up the name if you would like me to. |

| acually it counters a spell with converted mana cost x or less where x= number of faeries you control, in other words it's trash |

| Unfortunately true. It's not worth it to pay 1U for such a bad counter, attached to a 1/1, especially in legacy where you have plenty of great options for counterspells. |

i won a trial with this archetype a couple of months ago
i didnt lose a single game in the 6 rounds^^
id suggest
+1 trinket mage (<-key in many mups),
+1 cursed scroll and +2 psioblasts (3 spells which give this deck +++++win%!!)
instead of 1 seasprite and 3 islands
use the blue cards for mox and force; juggernaut is obv cool (i dont play him myself though).

| Hardly any more than Werebear or Nimble Mongoose. Since almost all the guys in Faerie Stompy fly, you'll have no trouble getting past ground stalls and Chalice works just fine against Tarmogoyf. Also, Tarmogoyf is a juicy Control Magic-target. |

I lost a match in the t4 of GPT to a similar faerie stompy deck. He was running oddly enough flying men, empyrial plate (totally savage for some reason), no juggernaut, no mage, and you definitely want brainstorm and daze main and disrupt board.
P.S. I was playing 4c Thresh Red/White before tarmogoyf if that gives you an idea.
Game 1: He rides plated flying men to the win by turn 5
Game 2: I shut him down with mages and beats
Game 3: We both jump the gun and I run out of gas first
This was before tarmogoyf. This deck can seriously get out-tempoed by decks like thresh even without goyf. It has some problems vs. gobbos. The great thing about plate is it can be a combat trick if you have a draw spell. Most of the time the trouble he would run into was being too small or having to trade with a mongoose/werebear which won't happen if a goyf is on the board instead. |

The thing is, Flying Men is an ancient piece of tech and it got dropped due to relatively low impact and dying to the most relevant Chalice. Empyrial Plate just isn't as brutal as Jitte nor as brutal as SoFI so it doesn't belong. He was probably playing Blue Skies, a totally different deck.
Oh, and Brainstorm is kinda meh since you want to be able to Chalice at 1 on your first turn and any subsequent Brainstorms are dead draws, not to mention you don't have enough shuffle-effects to really support Brainstorm. It has been played to some success, but it's a rather weak choice and doesn't go with the deck's aggressive style. Daze is a decent choice, but the deck runs so many non-Island mana producers that it can be dead at times and it's invariably dead in the midgame. It's one of the options that's always worth exploring though. |

I don't like how the deck plays. There should be an Avatar for faeries.
Starting hand -4 cards, -3 life you begin the game with a 1/1 flying blue faerie in play. Counter all spells Converted Mana cost 1. When ever you play a spell lose 2 life.
That is a lot of issues for only one gain "Counter all spells with converted mana cost 1". |

I run this deck in real life and i LOVE it.. its soo much fun..
Mine doesnt run the Jugs but I do run more tinkets and I run epocrisite with Aether Vial for a 4/4 recurable.
the deck can be very good with the right SB and tweeking. I love mine!
Turn 1 sea drake is just nasty! (i run mox diamond instead of Chrome) |

I wonder about mox diamond in a deck designed to run between 17 and 18 lands and 4 moxes...
Then again, I also worry about a deck that runs Chrome Mox and the same number of artifacts and blue cards.
However, Faerie Stompy is still a perfectly solid deck and a valid threat for the upcoming master. (everybody play Stompy please. <_< >_>) |

I run 19 land, The extra land is Seat for the Thirst. I would rather have the mox diamond because I would rather use lands then my threats. Also with the land bouncing back, it give me the ability to play a later game mox and not loose much threat. That extra seat or 2 has never hurt me
When your running force and Mox Diamond... in a deck with 1/2 blue 1/2 art, it really starts to hurt.. Land is more plentiful and less risky. |

In the last trial my Pox deck rolled this deck.
Any deck, in my opinion, whose biggest "trick" is a damned chalice of the void for 1 on turn 1, is...total friggin crap. |
