| Does anyone regularly use Portal Three Kingdoms cards? I only have a handful myself. I don't use the horsemanship, since it's somewhat abusive when the people I play against don't have it and don't have access to purchasing packs of P3K, so it's just unblockable. However, some cards like Cao Cao work just fine. |

yeah, there are only a couple cards that ever see play, but they are worth a ton of money because they are so rare:
Imperial Recruiter
Imperial Seal (worth over $100)
and im pretty sure Grim Tutor came in some other junky set though
Also ive never seen it but i think Zodiac Dragon might be able to see some play somewhere; i know its worth alot of money, hes nearly stricktly better then squee were ever he might see play in 1.5 or t1 |

| Rolling Earthquake is strictly better than Earthquake, but neither sees much play at all. Rolling hits creatures without Horsemanship and players, while Earthquake hits non-flying and players. |

List of usable/used P3K cards:
Burning of Xinye (Wildfire is playable in Wildfire Stax)
Capture of Jingzhou (not used, but if someone uses Time Warp, redundant Time Warp-effects will come in handy)
Imperial Recruiter (Imperial Aluren comboes off with this)
Loyal Retainers (best reanimation available in White, works nicely with Survival of the Fittest)
Lu Xun, Scholar General (mono-blue Finkel with improved Fear)
Overwhelming Forces (c'mon, at least it trumps Plague Wind and Decree of Pain! Ok, not this one)
Ravages of War (extra Geddons)
Riding the Dilu Horse (unblockability and pump, enchantment that goes to grave, weird and possibly handy)
Rolling Earthquake (the best sweeper in Legacy, very good)
Strategic Planning (there's some talk about using this in a thresh-deck of some sort, never materialized since it's a 2-mana sorcery, but meh)
Zodiac Dragon (in reality, the card is utterly useless, but if it's ever restored to its original wording, it'll be broken beyond measure (oh, and I guess it can be almost ok in Sneak Attack; not good, but almost half-playable if you didn't have 1000 better options); also, it costs more than anything else sooo...)
Grim Tutor is from starter. Sea Drake is from Portal 2. Fire Imp is from Portal. Thunder Dragon is from Starter. Personal Tutor is from Portal. Sylvan Tutor too. That's about it.
Imperial Seal is good enough to be banned in Legacy, so that has to count for something. If it's reprinted and unbanned, it'll be the premiere tutor around- |

Lu Xun, Scholar General is more like Thieving Magpie.
If Zodiac Dragon were given its original text, it would be broken. Anything with a discard outlet is going to use this. - Turn 1 cheap mox, taiga, wild mongrel, discard anger, discard Zodiac. Return zodiac. Discard Zodiac. Repeat. Swing. |
