Ok guys so im gonna go to a T1 tournament in september, the problem is i havn't played T1 in a while so i have no idea whats good anymore. The tournament is 15 proxy and im a pretty tight budget, so that being the case i need a semi cheap deck(excluding the proxies) that can be competitive or semi competitive at worst. I would also like the deck to be able to beat flash considering that is gonna be the meta. Ive already tested 2 land belcher and i think that its too slow to keep up. Any info or help i get is appreciated, Thanks.

So all fish and tutor control decks are out of the question.
The Cheapest Tier 1 Vintage Deck: Manaless Ichorid
The most expensive cards are the ichorids,leds and therapies.

Manaless Ichorid run 4 bazzard of bagdad.

The cheapest competitive deck is maybe a good combo tendril. Without black lotus and mox jet it still very good. Ill post a list in one hour. You will see how it's good. Also, maybe you can run a Ichorid version like t1.5, with 4 cabal + duress it will be good. Ill post a list of that too. You can also run Aggro! It's maybe the best way to break the metagame and being competitive.

//NAME: Combo Tentril
// Lands
2 Swamp
2 Underground Sea
1 Bayou
1 Mox Jet
3 Polluted Delta
// Spells
2 Tendrils of Agony
1 Necropotence
4 Infernal Contract
1 Black Lotus
4 Duress
2 Land Grant
1 Lotus Petal
1 Yawgmoth's Will
3 Diabolic Intent
1 Vampiric Tutor
1 Demonic Tutor
3 Cabal Therapy
1 Demonic Consultation
4 Culling the Weak
1 Echoing Truth
4 Dark Ritual
4 Cabal Ritual
// Creatures
4 Shield Sphere
1 Ornithopter
2 Xantid Swarm
3 Kobolds of Kher Keep
3 Phyrexian Walker
// Sideboard
SB: 2 Tormod's Crypt
SB: 2 Xantid Swarm
SB: 1 Echoing Truth
SB: 1 Extirpate
SB: 1 Phyrexian Walker
SB: 1 Diabolic Intent
SB: 1 Ornithopter
SB: 3 Hurkyl's Recall
SB: 3 Massacre

So you have 1 Black Lotus
1 Mox Jet
Few dual lands
1 Imperial Seal
1 vapiric and etc

So you will be ok with your proxy and this deck is able to kill in turn 1 and it's stable.

Doomsday is another good deck which just needs semi-power in order to run as it should. The main problem is that's a VERY difficult deck to play, but it's very powerful if played correctly. You can found some lists browsing www.themanadrain.com

You want to play manaless ichorid if you can't afford most of the cards. However if you can spare some cash to buy duals or fetches you want to play GAT it is probably the cheapest really really good deck there is if you can proxy.

Ty for the comments, i used to play doomsday but it is eazsily disrupted also flash is gonna be big so i need something that can either slow flash down or win as fast. Mana less ischorid sounds nice as does the tenfrils deck, I heard some ppl talking about GAT but i have no idea what it is as i have not play vintage in a while, can u post me a list by any chance?

Edit: Can i also get a list for manaless ichorid? what makes this deck soo good? it seems fast but not as fast as an array of other decks, also it is disrupted by leyline of the void.

I'm not an avid T1 player, but when I play it on here I play ichorid.

It is very fast and can set up for some quick wins. THe whole side board is set up against leyline.

I'll try to get a list.

Keep in mind that hulk flash also gets screwed from leyline of the void. I don't know what I would run at all with your budget. I would most likely pick another tournament to go to really. If you do go expect to be out on card quality in every game.
