Ok First of all i didnt tested this deck a lot, but it a blast to play, i just got through some ideas with schwipschwap today and we build this deck together. We didnt started with riddle at all, we first wanted to build UGr deck with shifter and things, at the end we where at this one, without any shifters or thelike. The idea was just to abuse the terramorphics and land returners like scryb or fanthom seer with boom/bust for some fun. To summon it up, we have now this:
MainDeck (60)
Sideboard
Creatures
2 Bogardan Hellkite
4 Radha, Heir to Keld
3 Greater Gargadon
4 Scryb Ranger
4 Spectral Force
Spells
4 Assault/Battery
4 Riddle of Lightning
4 Mwonvuli Acid-Moss
4 Boom/Bust
4 Search for Tomorrow
Lands
10 Forest
5 Mountain
4 Terramorphic Expanse
4 Grove of the Burnwillows
Sideboard
2 Krosan Grip
4 Quagnoth
4 Fiery Temper
1 Greater Gargadon
4 Utopia Vow
Ok i know what your going to say its kind of an weird mana ramp deck, and your kind of right. But it has some nice synergies build into it and you only run 8 strait mana acceleration which seems fine. Scryb ranger the friend of spectral also helps with turn 4 Hellkites, you can often go turn 3 and 4 Landkill. You often can just Armageddon the lands and with scryb you have a forest + whatever is already on your hand. Riddle hits always hard in this deck. The Boom/bust deals 8, Greater deal 10, In the five spot we have Riddle, Assault/Battery, Hellkite deals 8, and the acid deals four. So Riddle can take out almost any creature (good vs gw) and deals a ton of damage to control. Of course you can also be pretty explosive with turn 3 Spectal Force or Turn 4 Hellkite. I play the assault battery over dead/gone cause i like it ways better vs control cause you can just play a 3/3 and also sneak in the last 2 damage. The Quagnoth are there for the obvious reasons. I am not sure if its realy competative but in the few games of testing it did good, and it was realy fun to play. I love to hear suggestions, or maybe you you just want to try it out and have a fun time.

I didnt looked at a list BigShow but of course we thought about mana ramp decks by building this, maybe theres already a better version, but if you read my post, you will see that i not tested it often, i just wanted to threw that here maybe someone will have some fun with this. But if you have a better list why not post it Ah and btw i thought about Wall of Roots, but i dont want to have to many accel and i wont cut one of the others cause, Rhada plays nice with a lot of cards in this and Search helps power out Turn 3 Spectral Force and its color fixing. |
