yeahh i gotta say
testin for a format that doesnt even exist is kinda dumb.
I mean speculation for a format where you know all the cards in the upcoming set, like people did after 10th spoilers were completed is fine
but extended is still goin to have a lot of sets in it and at least 4 more sets are goin to be released before the rotation

You shouldn't put down people who want to prepare a year beforehand. Don't forget that these are the people who win Worlds!

Extended changes next fall people!

I don't believe that is correct. Extended will rotate in Fall 2008. And Thorns, Extended is no longer in Worlds, this year it is Legacy.

so the next ext rotation will be MIR forward right? what core sets? 8th?

Its gona kill alot of decks. Im looking toward to it, the lose of sac lands will be kinda crazy, no "do absolutely anything you want with your mana base anymore" Just the slightly less crazy "do about anything you want"

ontopic: i dunno. It could be good again, will see.

back off topick: whats the interation between stifle and TnN? can you stiffle it at all?

imo azoritron will continue to be strong, as many of its key elements will stay in 1.x.

entwine: Entwine is a static ability that functions while the spell is on the stack. "Entwine [cost]" means "You may choose to use all modes of this spell instead of just one. If you do, you pay an additional [cost]." When the spell resolves, if the entwine cost was paid, follow the text of each of the modes in the order they're written on the card. See rule 502.32, "Entwine."

Stifle
U (1), Instant
Counter target activated or triggered ability. (Mana abilities can't be targeted.)
So, NO. It isn't hurt by Stifle, not even Pithing Needle.

btw, I agree with the 1st post, in part, TnN deck will be more powerful but you cant say it will own, for jesus sake.

Do you know what's comming in Lorwin block? you dont know if TnN will become a overpowerful deck or just a cr*p. Making that kind of prediction is cr*p, testing a format that dont even exist is worse yet. Extended has a very very long card pool, you dont know how metagame will be.

So you cant go that way. Just wait Cool

(btw, for the guy ''play affinity or loose against it" have you ever seen all the artifact hate is in there? 10th brought good artifact hate, I think lorwin will bring more good stuff. Just don't be that fanatic Wink )
