Boom/Bust with terramorphic expanse?

I was wondering, if I Boom my terramorphic expanse, and then sacrifice it in response... will the spell still let me target my opponent's land? Or does it not work at all?

Yes it works. You will be able to fetch a land and your opponent will lose a land.

That works, but the reason is a spell's not countered unless all of the targets become illegal. Since you're targeting a land of your and a land of theirs and the spell literally says target twice, it's not countered unless their land disappears too.
