yeah, if they wanted the text on a card, they just have to ask a judge for a english version or oracle text.

From what I have heard so far about foreign cards. If your opponent asks you about the card you do not have to answer however they can have a judge inform them. Kinda funny if they don't know about the judge part then you can have a card that only you know. Not completely sure about this but it is very much legal.

Your opponent shouldn't even ask you. It's never smart to ask an opponent about that sort of thing. Always ask things like that to judges, that's what they are there for.

You can use foreign cards, yes, they are just as legal. Note that simply using them to gain an advantage is illegal, but almost impossible to prove.

Honestly, if your opponent doesn't recognize the card you're playing, either

1) You play horrible cards and will soon be at the 0-2 table, so it doesn't matter anyway

or

2) He doesn't know enough about the good cards in the environment to advance, and he'll soon be at the 0-2 table, so it doesn't matter anyway.

Thanks, I'm just a little scared ...

I'm actually going to be going to China, more specifically Hong Kong, then Bejing for the next 5 weeks, and at the time will hopefully be attending

Magic game day in Hong Kong. Issue is ... I speak very poor broken Cantonese and am curious how it will be having a english vs. hong kong rounds in the sealed section _ _ll ...

Not just scared but interested in how stupid I'll look trying to have a match when the language is a little well ... off >.<

Suggestions anyone?

Print out the Oracle text for all cards in Tenth Edition? It should be on the site pretty soon.

The fact is, to do many trick, sometime it's important to know exactly the text. Wording can change a lot of thing.

I do not have a problem with this, most of my cards are japanese and sometimes it does irritate the local judges a bit. Smile

kiki did I said it was funny ALL thre time? I played vs 2 or 3 english with this deck and it was funny. and I said that I didn't play in any big event too. A deck 100% french at a GP should be funny. Esti de tête carré à marde
