| I believe with MWS at least one person needs to keep the client open for this to be possible... |

both players do, actually.
With both windows still open and in the same state that they were at the time of the disconnect, both players hit options > reconnect, then either: navigate back to the server the game was originally made on and have the player who originally made the game remake it and the player who originally joined the game rejoin it, or have the person who hosted click on the "Waiting" tab and then the "Wait" button, and the player who originally called re-call. |

| This does not have a 100% success rate, and the type of error that caused the crash will dictate whether or not it is actually possible at all. If either player receives an error message (not a 10054: blahblahblah, but an "error" message), it is NOT possible to reconnect. The ability to reconnect actually only works under very narrow circumstances. |
